If we walk in the Light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin

For came across this verse and it made me think, isn't church supposed to be like this?
We walk in the Light of truth, truth of scriipture, sin, repentance, edification
Jesus forgives and cleanses us from sin

That in Chruch, in relationships, we find sin that surfaces, we didn't even know we had

Just a thought today :)

Phil 2:1-2 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind

There is:
Encouragement
Comfort
presence of the Spirit
Affection
Sympathy

All in Christ, and all should be in His church --> the same mind, same love, oneness - Now that's a joyful church

I like the word 'cleanses'. It is in the present tense, active voice,... the blood is even now actively cleansing us. What a present washing! What a present Savior!

There will be MANY Christians who thought they were SAVED and under GRACE and going to Heaven, that will be crying, wailing, mourning because of this verse. Many people today claim they are cleansed by His Blood, but they fail to realize the Truth of all of Scriptures. The above verse plainly teaches that those who are walking in the light, are cleansed by His Blood. It says IF we walk in the light, the IF, makes it conditional. If we walk in the light as Jesus did, then His Blood cleanseth us from all evil. This wicked generation claims to cleansed by His Blood, yet they continue to walk in darkness, they continue to knowingly and willingly commit sins which they know full well are against Jesus Christ, yet continue to do them anyway, all the while claiming with their mouths they are walking in the light as Jesus did, therefore they are cleansed by His Blood. IF you walk in the light, then you are cleansed, Many walk in darkness, and still think they are cleansed by His Blood, making the above verse void and not applied to them. i will tell you the Truth and will not lie, Those who walk in the light, DO NOT WALK IN DARKNESS. If anyone walks in darkness (knowingly and willingly committing sins would be darkness i assure you) is not walking in the light as Jesus did, no matter how loudly they scream they are Saved, and under the Blood of Jesus, and under Grace, and Once Saved Always Saved. There will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth, and they are those who thought they were going, and were not taken up with Jesus Christ, because only those who are walking in the light as Jesus walked in the light, will be cleansed by His Blood, and they are FEW, very few.

Thanks for posting this owen - your profiles says your 15 - Praise God man, I hope and pray that you get ahold of this in your own life - walking in the light is so much LIFE - i walked in a good 27 years of darkness - it's not worth it. If you need any help with science and creation - message me - i'd be glad to help
