I would never be offended brother. I am asking to hear what you believe to make my own conclusions on the matter. Do you have a pre-existing thread which talks about this? Otherwise you can tell me on this thread if you want.
As far as I know the 7 year tribulation myth comes from Daniel 9:27. Some believe the "he" is "The Antichrist".

First off, Daniel 9:27 doesn't say anyone makes a peace treaty, it's a covenant not a peace treaty.

Secondly, It's not a new covenant, it's a covenant that is already in existence. Daniel 9:27 is the confirmation of the covenant.

Thirdly, it is not for 7 years, it is for one week.

Fourthly, it is not a covenant with Israel.

Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel 12 tells us clearly that there are 1335 days left to deal with Israel and it is identified as the great tribulation in verse 1.....

Does Daniel 12 prove that the covenant being confirmed in Daniel 9 is a peace treaty between the Antichrist and Israel. If so please explain.

Also you are making the assumption that the time of Jacob's trouble and the mythical seven year tribulation are the same. I don't believe at all. Jacob's trouble started when he rejected Christ and has been going on for the last 2000 years.

No....the covenant being confirmed in the middle of the week was the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus which put an end to the sacrifices.....

The 70th week of Daniel is a 7 year time period.......just shy of the first half was fulfilled by the earthly ministry of Jesus unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel....they rejected him Nationally and will endure the last half (1335 days) of the 70th week....The last 1970 plus years they have paid the price for saying (let his blood be upon us and our children)

Below is what I believe...
At the end of the day, we have the 70th week of Daniel to deal with which is 7 years......IF the week is divided by the crucifixion of Jesus and him putting an end to the sacrifices then a simple deduction and math can be worked out.....

The ministry of Jesus was just shy of three and a half years......to me it is not illogical and or improper to take the 7 year time period and do the math...Daniel 12 gives exactly 1335 days that are left to deal with Israel and the Great Tribulation period....it s naturally divided if you will notice....

Daniel 12:11

From the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away (Crucifixion of Jesus) to the Abomination that maketh desolate set up (image of the Beast) is 1290 days....that leaves a 45 day time period....blessed is he that comes to the 1335th day (verse 12)

We know from scripture that Israel goes all the way through in their fleshly bodies and repopulates the waste cities (Isaiah)

So when the math is done I come up with the following....WE KNOW that the bible states this...

3.5 years is 1260 days and or 42 months based upon Daniel and Revelation.....

1. The beats/little horn makes war on the saints for 3.5 years, or 42 months or 1260 days
2. The two witnesses preach 3.5 years, or 42 months or 1260 days

1260 divided by 42 = 42 months of 30 days
42 divided by 3.5 = 12 as in MONTHS 12 months times 3.5 years =42 months

So what do we have...

1. A 7 year period that ends with the last 1335 days
a. 1290 days from the end of the sacrifices to the image of the beast
b. 45 days after this a blessing pronounced upon those who make it through (wrath)

I believe we can rightfully conclude that the ministry of Jesus was 1,185 days long unto the house of Israel

1185 days plus 1335 days equals 2520 days<---divided by 30 day months=84 months divided by 12 month years = 7 years<--the 70thweek of Daniel

That is what I am saying, that is what I believe based upon almost 25 years of study....right or wrong!

There is no floating time period whether it be 7 years or 3 and a half years that is magically frozen, then started up again somewhere else is the far flung future. The 1,260 days......to the 1335 days is a sign of time which has been ongoing ever since the woman (Israel) fled into the wilderness, and also includes the fullness of time of the Gentiles.

Notice the start of "time of Jacobs trouble" or first tribulation of the Jews start point.

First tribulation of the Jews starts after the destruction of Jerusalem. Notice the wording of “those days” Luke 21:20-26 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.[SUP]21 [/SUP]Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.[SUP]23 [/SUP]But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. (Jews)
[SUP]24 [/SUP]And they (Jews) shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [SUP]26 [/SUP]Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.(6[SUP]th[/SUP] seal)

Again notice the wording of after the tribulation “of those days” in
Matthew 24:29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:” And again in Mark 13:24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,”

Same amount of time determined for the Jews tribulation period “tribulation of those days” and the fullness of the Gentiles. (Luke 21:24) Paul confirms in
Romans 11:25-26 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. Romans 11:26“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:” (Israel)

Again confirmation of “after those days” what happens to Jacob?(Israel)
Jeremiah 31:33 “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

The
6[SUP]th[/SUP] seal sign will confirm the timeafter the tribulation of those days” concerning the end time of Jacobs trouble, and the beginning of the Lamb’s wrath being poured out upon the Gentile nations, or the whole world.
