I love to talk about the beauty of the Lords grace and love...the goodness of the Lord and the power of His Grace.

Ro 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

For the grace of God that brings salvation hath appeared unto all men......The word appeared is epe-phino and means to shine upon and it is obvious...The world lieth in darkness and the light of the glorious gospel of Christ and the unmatched grace of God has shined down upon all of humanity in the form of Jesus the Christ........

Praise God for His grace and his mercy unto men in Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13 So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. (Joel 2:13, NKJV).

Ti 2:11-14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

"Grace Like Rain"

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
And I once was lost but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see so clearly

Hallelujah, grace like rain falls down on me
Hallelujah, and all my stains are washed away
They're washed away

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

And hallelujah, grace like rain falls down on me
And hallelujah, all my stains are washed away, they're washed away

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing Your praise
Than when we first begun

And hallelujah, grace like rain falls down on me
And hallelujah, all my stains are washed away

And hallelujah, grace like rain falls down on me
And hallelujah, all my stains are washed away, they're washed away
And hallelujah
And hallelujah
And hallelujah

And hallelujah, all my stains are washed away, they're washed away

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

To my children,

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Jesus

I thought of the words of Amazing Grace just this morning. Both beautiful songs, touching words.

for the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

James speaks to the O vain man, in respects to faith without works, because it seems you can recieve the grace of God (we have access into by faith) in vain

For example here,

We then
, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

An example of the effect of grace that come by Christ (as shown in Paul) which was not in vain

But by the grace of God I am what I am:and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain;

but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

He laboured more then all of them, also reminded me of Benjimins mess being 5 times more then his brethren in that sense for some reason.

Are you trying to mess up the thread?

Where is the lack of goodness of the Lord and lack of the power concerning His Grace in the above verses?

Its a grace thread...not a "works" thread...we have a bunch of those.
Your OP mentions the power of grace, Paul is speaking of labouring more then all through the very power (and effectual) of the grace of God that comes by Jesus Christ

had to add this :)

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

His grace deserves praise and glory !
