If Eve and Adam had never eaten from the tree? If there had been no fall - no sin, no satan, no need for redemption? Would we still know Jesus, or the Holy Spirit? What would the garden be like? In our exiled land we still get to explore, learn and grow. Would we be doing these and similar things in an unfallen world?

And could that picture apply to the redeemed world (new earth) to come?

Did adam and eve know God...
Does scripture say Jesus is true GOD and true man..
Does scripture say GOD is SPIRIT and GOD is HOLY..
No one can comprehend a sinless world or its objectives..

I believe that picture could indeed apply to the new heavens and the new earth.

without knowing good from evil we would never know God. It is from the pain and suffering of this world that we can understand the mercy, grace, and love of God. To Him (Yahweh) and his Son (Yeshua) be the glory forever, amen.

C S Lewis wrote a science fiction trilogy on this very topic. It was not earth, but another planet.

I confess, I read it a long time ago, and didn't really understand it in those days. Maybe I should read it again.

My opinion is sooner or later, someone would have sinned.

So God planned Adam and Eves failure? They were given free will, they could have chosen either way. Or is it that God gave them free will knowing they would blow it?

Jesus is God, the Holy Spirit is God, and God is eternal. So how did Christ and the Spirit manifest before the fall? Was it not the fall that made Christ necessary?
