I am writing this to all that is new to scripture! This person is trying to manipulate people into sending him money, using scripture to feed his belly..he boast highly of his Alms, to get you to cave in with emotion. Knowing the hearts of many good Christians, that seek to do charity. Please I seen his deception, as he first came talking about his Alms, and asking only for prayer..but after about 4 emails, he starts asking for money (he has not even got to know me, as I am a poor woman of material wealth). He has his view on scripture with "What is bound here on earth, will be bound in heaven, and what is lost on earth is lost in heaven." as receiving material objects. I know that scripture says "Do not build your riches here, where thieves will steal, and moths will eat!". I am already in consideration that he is just misled.. I just want people to be careful! If you see fit to keep company with him, that is your decision, or even to support his cause if you think I am wrong! The account name is EvangelistShahid, I blocked him..because he persisted in money, like I was lying to him about what I could give. May God bless you, and protect you!

EvangelistShahid has been a CC member since 2011.
I've talked to him myslef a few times. He is a sweet man. He has asked me for money in the past and I simply explained I don't have money to spare. He has many friends on CC as well. I don't think this is very appropriate way to go about things.
I understand you are trying to warn people but you shouldn't do so unless you have taken the time to get to know him first.
I truly believe he means no harm to anyone.

Thanks for the heads up as there has been others on here that have done this in the past to, as well as a few that sent condemning emails to people.

Any minister that preaches that godliness is a means to gain we are told in the bible to withdraw from such and not listen to them. (1 Timothy 6:5)

Plus I would add that it is against CC rules to ask others for money on here if they are not the working for CC.

You're right, It is against CC rules. But you'd think after being on here since 2011 and asking people over the years for money that he would have already been banned if it was that big of a problem.

I can't speak for anyone else but I personally haven't had a problem with him. Once I explained I didn't have the money he left it at that. He will contact me from time to time just to say hi and see how I'm doing. Like I said, I don't think this was the appropriate way to do this. If it was a big problem then I'm sure CC would have already taken care of it.

The appropriate way to deal with this is to send a report detailing what the PM says to CC. You can click on the Contact Us at the bottom of the page, and tell them which PM it is. Then they will assess and deal with it.

I have not personally met this person, so I do not know what they are doing. And considering that I have also been on here since 2011, I find that a bit strange? Maybe we hang out in different forums?

Now that is just weird! He literally has not made a post on CC. A search reveals the only place his name appears is on this thread. That sets off a few warning bells for me. But not my business - send a report.

Well you are right in a way but if he has not really stirred up a storm, but has stayed pretty quite and behind the scenes with nobody reporting him then he could last awhile.

Usually the only ones I see getting banned is ones trying to forcefully push bad doctrines on others !!!

Bad behavior and being unedifying toward others is also against the CC rules but I know a few that have been getting away with that as well for awhile. The site is not perfect and still has some issues to work out, but until then we can only bare with it and put them on ignore, block emails, or report them (if your report button works that is).

I don't know about the member in question, but this thread brings up an issue...

The scripture reads... James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

So what is a man asking a woman for money FOR??? It would be AMAZING if the people of God decided to bring this verse ALIVE in their lives... just sayin'.

I am perfectly fine with giving money I have done so many times however a lot of ppl asking for money will also ask me for my information thinking I will give it to them. I am naive and I am easy to to take advantage of but even I know not to give my info to anyone
