wouldn't surprise me. God is faithfully saving His people. He uses what might, to me, seem the unlikeliest of means.

:) God also doesn't appear to care about what i think 'likely means' are. let us all give thanks to the Lord.

Acts 8:9, “"Now there was a certain man called Shim‛on, who formerly was practising magic in the city and astonishing the people of Shomeron, claiming to be someone great,"8:10, "to whom they all were giving heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This one is the power of Yah, which is great.”"8:11, "And they were giving heed to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic."8:12, "And when they believed Philip as he brought the Good News about the reign of Yah and the Name of יהושע Messiah, both men and women were immersed."8:13, "And Shim‛on himself also believed. And when he was immersed he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which took place."8:14, "And when the emissaries who were at Yerushalayim heard that Shomeron had received the Word of Yah, they sent Kĕpha and Yoḥanan to them,"8:15, "who, when they had come down, prayed for them to receive the Set-apart Spirit,"8:16, "for He had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been immersed in the Name of the Master יהושע."8:17, "Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Set-apart Spirit."8:18, "And Shim‛on, seeing that through the laying on of the hands of the emissaries the Set-apart Spirit was given, he offered them money,"8:19, "saying, “Give me this authority too, so that anyone I lay hands on shall receive the Set-apart Spirit.”"8:20, "But Kĕpha said to him, “Let your silver perish with you, because you thought to buy the gift of Yah through money!"8:21, "“You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before Yah."8:22, "“Repent therefore of this evil of yours, and plead with Yah to forgive you the intention of your heart."8:23, "“For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by unrighteousness.”"8:24, "But Shim‛on answering, said, “Plead with the Master for me, so that none of what you had said shall come upon me.”

Has a ministry many have come to Jesus under.
Only Jesus knows who came to Him. You cannot know that and nobody can.

Many will be suprised in the end.

One thing is to know Jesus, but the important thing is if Jesus knows the person.

I first met him more than thirty years ago. (He was just across the bay from us.) I have to admit that he has changed, but in his earlier days, he was a man I liked and respected.

He collects tithes and then tells people they need to give $1,200...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rB0jSmxtDXc

This video he gives a man what lloks like drugs, and the man overdoses on heroin that night

Ephesians 5:11, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”

No one is perfect we all sin, we all error, we all have weakness, but this man is a wolf by all accounts and seems to be fully dedicated to that path...

Mat 7:15-20, “But beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are savage wolves. By their fruits you shall know them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles? So every good tree yields good fruit, but a rotten tree yields wicked fruit. A good tree is unable to yield wicked fruit, and a rotten tree to yield good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their fruits you shall know them.”

just to be clear.... i do not recommend staying under Mr. Hinn's ministry.

where you are when you hear the Gospel and God saves you is another matter, entirely.

and something about a broken clock.

Well, I never had the opportunity to encounter him 30 years ago.

Sometimes we change for the better, and sometimes for the worse.

All I know is what I see these days.
He says some crazy sounding things, slays people with his magical jedi coat, and asks for a lot of money.

I've read that he started out ok but fell in with some weird people.
Could be.

I'm absolutely no fan of Benny Hinn,
but I do believe that sometimes people with great gifts and talents come under huge spiritual attack,
until it changes them.

If I had any talent, I'd give you an opinion from personal experience.

You might have actually liked him back then. I agree that today, he seems like a total fruitcake.

Any man that bowls people over like bowling pins with his coat claiming it is from God is a fraud....the ONE and only time I witnessed one of his "so called MARACLES" was a total sham.....the camera accidently switched at the wrong moment and the man in a wheel chair he was talking up about healing was left sitting as he grabbed the man (identically dressed) as the man in the wheel chair I might add and lifted him up by the hand and the guy stood and Benny Spinster proclaimed.....It's a MAAAAAAARAAAACLLLLEEE.......

*disclaimer* the bolded misspelled and highlighted for emphasis

Has a ministry many have come to Jesus under.
He is a false teacher. Someone who does not have the truth is spiritually blind. And Jesus says “If the blind lead the blind, BOTH will fall into a pit.” Paul was once blind, even though he was well taught- like our modern day college. But when he learned the truth he obeyed it. We have to search of the truth with all our heart, and then we will find it.
