2Pe 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

We all need to take heed. What do you think present truth is? Explain with scripture please.

Does the bible say "present truth" is only between your self and God? Explain with scripture please.

I was going to quote the verse you quoted. It is the only verse in the Bible which has the phrase 'Present Truth'. It means the truth that is present with you.
Colossians 1:5-6
(5) For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
(6) Which is come (present) unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

The word come in this verse is translated from the same word as present in 2 Peter 1:12.
