2 Thessalonians 2:3 "the departure" IS intentionally describing the RAPTURE.

You are referring to a chapter in Matthew - but you cannot post a specific scripture from it???
1Cor 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Holy Spirit will have to reveal it.

God Bless!!!

Yes, truly amazing how you twist and conflate scripture.
Now you forgot what YOU said.

Christ is not sitting in 1 Thess 4

but He is sitting with a sickle in His hand Rev 14 - because He is Reaping His Saints thru this = ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’

Christ does not have a sickle in His hand in 1 Thess 4 because He has now Come to RESURRECT the DEAD in HIM.

Amazing
Jesus is sitting - He is not Coming with the Saints - 1 Thess 4;

AGREE, we are to be watching and waiting for His Coming.

Do not put your trust in fables - pre-trib - it's never mentioned in the Scriptures.

You say we are to be "watching"...

What do you mean exactly?... "WATCH or else" what?

...and how does that jive with:

"the One having died for us, so that whether we might watch or we might sleep [same 2 words and idea as in v.6!], we may live together with Him." 1Th5:10

"the One having died for us, so that whether we might watch or we might sleep [same 2 words and idea as in v.6!], we may live together with Him." 1Th5:10
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 1 Thess 5

But watch yourselves, or your hearts will be weighed down by dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life—and that day will spring upon you suddenly like a snare. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of all the earth. So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Matt 24
