My opinion is my best friend of 18 yrs has turned to their belief, I asked her what about the
churches in rev. and the ones paul set up, she couldnt answer, said to ask lady who was
teaching her.she no longer goes to church only group studies,I assume they are the jews
who believe in jesus now, but my friend studies torah, moses law, they celebrate all jewish
holidays,ect.and saturday is sabbath. What is your opinion?

If your friend is Jewish that is fine. If you friend in Gentile then she is not supposed to convert to Judaism. if you are close enough maybe you two could study Galatians together (Galatians is referring to more than circumcision it is telling Gentiles not to enter into the Old Covenant) However I do keep a Saturday Sabbath myself because it is part of the 10 commandments of which I think all believers should keep.

I dont necessarily think it is wrong to keep the feast, but a Gentile should remain a Gentile, and a Jew a Jew. The messianic movement is great for Jewish believers, no so much for Gentiles.

Yes we need to pray for her. Not only because she turned to Judaism which is spoke against by Paul in the scripture, but because she looks down on other Gentiles that have not.

In the book of Galatians that was the problem. Judaism proselytes that had accept Jesus as Messiah were telling the none proselyte Gentile believers that they had to also convert to Judaism as well as accept Jesus. Paul told them not only that they didnt have to, but that the should not.

Weird...most Messianic movements understand that Gentile are not to convert to Judaism. The main reason they believe this is because of the Shama

''Hear O' Israel the Lord your God, The Lord is One (The only One)

the Shama teaches that the God of Israel is the only God therefore He is also the God of the Nations. however if Jews are assemulated into the Gentile Church then god would only be the God of the nations, or if Gentile who believe in Jesus convert to Judaism then He would only be the god of the Jews

For God to be both the God of Israel, and of the Jesus then we must remain who we are, and a gentile becoming a Jew is as unnatural as a man becoming a woman

Romans 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:


Her teacher must be rogue, because most Messianic Jews do not believe in converting Gentiles. For the reasons i stated above.
