This has been posted many times, but it needs its own thread. It seems some of our blessed family members believe others who have demonstrated having been used by our Father to show HIS power, love and care think those used believe they are better or better off than those who have not YET been so used.

No one can confess Jesus Christ is the Lord, come in the flesh, and is our Savior unless it is of the Holy Spirit. In Revelation we are taught further that the confession of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophesy. Never think for a moment just because you or anyone has not the gift of healing or knowledge or any of those named and labeled gifts that you are not just as important to all the other Body members and to the Father as are the Apostles. Keep in mind they had their specific missions, and from my own study and prayer I believe they were designated in Heaven. Jesus and the disciples had the mission to get the gospel to each of us, and they did a wonderful work because we are saved.

It is good to be skeptical of anyone purporting to have gifts of the Holy Spirit, especially when it is done as some kind of show. What my own experience has been is these miracles do continue, but most times in home assemblies or just one-on-one as the Father desires. Nothing is done by a man having a gift by his own power. No gift is true if it is of the power of a man or a man only decision to use. It is always from the Father. Any boast must be of God.

There are so many gifted by God folks in the CCR who do not seem to realize just how much of a blessing they are to all the other Body Members. God does not count out anyone, so do not count yourself out. God is good all of the time. Praise God, amen....

Those are two amazing verses. Thanks Jack.
