Galatians 3
[/h]King James Version (KJV)

3 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
[SUP]2 [/SUP]This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
[SUP]4 [/SUP]Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
[SUP]27 [/SUP]For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I am a Christian, I do not keep the Sabbath or any portion of Jewish ceremonial law. I keep the law of Christ which is clearly mentioned in the NT, which is a moral law.

I'm not Jewish. I'm not a gentile either (That implies someone without God at all).

I'm a Christian saved by grace. I follow the commands of Jesus in the New Testament, but intertwined with those are the commands of the OT. I follow those spiritually the best I can and physically, where applicable. I don't follow them to improve my standing before God or my salvation, but I do as a loving response to His mercy.

Ok consider this verse it is Jesus christ him self speaking, i just need to establish this fact before i make my point, of this is Jesus speaking in whom we trust yes.

Matthew 23:1-5

New International Version (NIV)

A Warning Against Hypocrisy

23 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: [SUP]2 [/SUP]“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. [SUP]3 [/SUP]So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. [SUP]4 [/SUP]They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries[SUP][a][/SUP] wide and the tassels on their garments long;

Ok now this is Jesus who is speaking to the Jews who are preaching the law yes we need to establish this first i want to be quite clear ,

as we see in this scripture Jesus is not mad about them preaching the law he is giving warning about them not practicing the law.

You see the commandments are law also they are Gods law and as Jesus is showing her if you preach them you have to obey them.

Thanks for that post i know about this but do you know about this
[h=3]Jew and Gentile reconciled through Christ[/h][SUP]11 [/SUP]Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called ‘uncircumcised’ by those who call themselves ‘the circumcision’ (which is done in the body by human hands) – [SUP]12 [/SUP]remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. [SUP]13 [/SUP]But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, [SUP]15 [/SUP]by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, [SUP]16 [/SUP]and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. [SUP]17 [/SUP]He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, [SUP]20 [/SUP]built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. [SUP]21 [/SUP]In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. [SUP]22 [/SUP]And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

WHAT IS THIS SCRIPTRE saying ?

there is no distinction ?
JEWS are saved too ?

And this 1 peter 2:1-10As Newborn Babes 1Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, 2like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, 3if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.
As Living Stones
4And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, 5you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6For this is contained in Scripture:
“BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER stone,
AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
7This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve,
“THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED,
THIS BECAME THE VERY CORNER stone,
8and,
“A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE”;
for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed.
9But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have

Who are these Jews that keep the commandments? They may say they keep them but they don't. Jehovah said of them with their lips they serve Me but their hearts are far from Me.

Is it not enough to name the name of Christ as your Savior?

For the cause of Christ

Okay , law keeping again. Here we go. Yes every Christian should hold the the ten commandments as a way to conduct ones life. In fact God said that He would write in our hearts. Where the problem comes in is this. Where is your faith? is your faith in keeping law? or is your faith in the work of the cross?

If it were possible for man to keep the law according to God's standard, then there would have been no need for the cross. The problem is that it is impossible for man to keep the law in these flesh bodies. However, when a persons faith is placed in the work of the cross, that enables the Holy Spirit to do what we cannot. Now does that make us perfect? No it does not, because we are still flesh and still want to rely own our own ability rather than God's.

That get us into trouble, because we have turned our faith from the cross to our own ability and God will not accept that. In the OT God would accept the sacrifice of an animal as a precursor to the cross. However, that person's faith must be placed in the cross to come for that sacrifice to be accepted. Hence Able's was accepted and Cain's was not.

We must try our best to keep the law as God helps us. However, we must stay focused on the work of the cross and not what we do. That's why going to church every Sunday or Saturday is of no effect, unless your faith is in the cross and nothing else.

You are a sinner. It is impossible to keep all the law, so trying to makes you sin 'til you die. That is the ticket to hell. I would advise against booking passage on that cruise.

First of all this after the rapture. Second, do think that the only people being saved are 144, 000 people? If that the case Satan wins.

Third, are you Jehovah's witness? because this is their doctrine

Jesus and His work on the cross is the Sabbath. Can you have rest with out Him?
