You are really saying that without obedience to the law we cannot enter into eternal life.
This is called righteousness by works of the law. Scripture even describes this as (spiritual) sexual immorality. Under grace, Christians are married to Christ, therefore we should not be lusting after the alternative, which is Hagar, who is symbolic of righteousness by works of the law, Gal 4:24.
