Abraham, yes, believe that He will save you from your real life troubles, be patient, and act in line with His advice.

People that focus on just believing that Jesus was a real guy and that He is only duty bound to save you from a hell after death are actually unbelievers.

2 Corinthians 6:2

And Abraham also prayed for the salvation of others like Isaac, people in Sodom and Gomorah, etc.

curious who was Jesus counted among as being from the religous leaders of self righteousness? Why did Christ let them do what they did to him when he could have stopped them anytime with the power he has?
Not for himself was it? How can that be he is perfect right? Then no need for him to take the flogging, the stripes that he endured on his back.
I conclude he did do it for all of us, just not all will believe this and are in search of their own righteousness, never able to be perfect in and of themselves, hopefully seeing that they just need God period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this is a gift through Christ from the cross by Father for us by Father's Mercy to us

Belief is knowing who you are in Christ; who Christ is in you. Believing God's word is true, and all the authority given to us,
and the promises that have been made for us.
(this is outside of salvation)

When we act in the flesh, or by our own reasoning, this is unbelief.

Hebrews 2:14Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—
Colossians 2:11In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ,
So let's ask daily for this circumcision by Christ and be alive in Christ's spirit, that christ sent to us all to recieve
Beleif, one sees, and then one recieves, too simple

Thats it isn't it!? Its just too simple. The gospel was never meant to be difficult. We intellectualize it too much.
Believe. Only believe Christ is who he says he is!!
Thank you brother!!
