heb 1:1-3 ,heb 2:1- 4,

" God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; "

"Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?"

heb 2:10-18 " For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,.....

...v14Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. ( son of man)

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted."

heb 3 " Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

heb 5:7-10 " Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec."

heb 4:14-16 " Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Hebrws 8:1-2 " Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. "

Hebrews 9:11-24 " But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

v23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:"

1 peter 3 : 22 " Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him."

mark 16:19 "So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."

romans 8:34 "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

1 john 2: 1-2 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

This one small passage is so full of Divine revelation, that it would require pages to discuss.

God -- this is the one true God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The book of Hebrews begins with God, and everything for a Christian must begin and end with God. Thus Genesis begins with God and Revelation ends with God.

who at sundry times and in divers manners -- God has been communicating with Man ever since the creation of Adam.

spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets -- the prophets were mortal men but spoke the words of God by Divine inspiration. We have the entire Old Testament to show us what they said, since it is called "the Law and the Prophets". But even the Law was revealed by the prophet Moses.

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son -- the last days began with the birth of Christ and will end with His Second Coming. We have the privilege to know what was spoken by the Son in the New Testament.

whom he hath appointed heir of all things -
the Father has given all things into the hands of the Son. But one day the Son will hand everything back to the Father, so that God will be all and in all.

by whom also he made the worlds -- it is the Son who is the Creator (as the eternal Word), even though the whole Godhead was involved in creation.

Who being the brightness of his glory -- the brightness of God's glory is in the face of Jesus Christ.

and the express image of his person -- since no man has seen God the Father at any time, the one who has seen the Son has seen God.

and upholding all things by the word of his power -- Jesus said that all power in Heaven and in earth has been given to Him. Before that the entire universe was (and continues to be) sustained by the word of His power.

when he had by himself purged our sins -- no man, no angel, and no Mary helped Christ to complete His finished work on the Cross. He did it all by Himself when He made Himself -- willingly and voluntarily -- the one final offering for sin.

sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high -- human high priests could never sit down. But Christ, as the Divine High Priest (after the order of Melchizedek) sat down on His throne at the right hand to the Father to shown that the work of redemption was finished and that all power was now in His hands.

also if you look to the rest were told of a Heavenly tabernacle the true things, and that the Old things of moses, were a foreshadow. they were given tedious instructions and told to be careful to follow the patterns God gave moses on the mount, because it was a copy of what was in Heaven. the entire old testament is like that, Moses is a pattern of Jesus, the tabernacle a pattern of the true tabernacle in Heaven.

everything is a pattern the law, a pattern of the Gospel, the sacrificail Law, a pattern of the atonement of Gods Lamb, the passover, a pattern of the deliverance from death Jesus offers.....Jesus went into the heavens to be High preist in Gods presence, in the Old testament the High priest would enter in once a year with a sacrifice for His sins He would go in where the ark was, and the Law was sitting beside the ark, he would sprinkle the blood on the mercy seat, and transfer the sin onto the scapegoat.

this is the earthly pattern of what Jesus did, i agre with most all of what you wrote there. and i think it bears to say Jesus work is finished, and our work is to obey Him because God spoke through Jesus in these last days, making Him the mediator of the new covenant, and making His conditions the eternal conditions because you are right He gave is Life and is worthy to Hold the authority.

so Jesus instructed His disciples to repent and obey His word. and were positive Jesus is above the rest. then His words should be the Ones we believe. Hebrews is full of a wealth of knowledge and understanding for the studier
