So i am having an issue and i don't know what god wants me to do in it. i have prayed and asked but i feel the answer is right in my face. God is not a god of fear or confusion. But this whole situation is bringing me nothing but fear, sadness and confusion. I told god that i would do whatever he says to do but i know if what i am about to do is his will it will hurt very much but i might be free of this worry and fear and sadness. I do not know what to do

Discerning the will of God for our lives isn't always easy.
Obviously, if it's in the Bible, np.

Do you have parents,or a pastor who could be of help if it's something like where to work or go to college?

And especially if it's something like whom to marry? :)

i know how you feel because i too am going through waiting on the Lord for an answer. I find that sometimes we can pray and pray for something and it seems like God isn't listening , and then there are times when we ask for something and he answers the same day we ask of it. I wouldn't do anything as far as taking this matter into your own will and be patient and wait on the Lord. I believe in God's perfect timing. You will know. Be anxious for nothing , but in all things with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your request know to God, then the peace which goes beyond all understanding will guide your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. He is listening and He loves you.

God created us in his own image and likeness. God lives in us and we in God. So when facing a difficult choice or you need an answer close your eyes, focus on the face of Jesus and the answer will come to you. For the words of God are heard loudest in silence.
