No. But in a postmodern world the dogmaticness is appreciated.
Iron sharpens iron, nevertheless iron doesn't bend.
I think the hope of some of us is to answer the questions that the 'lurkers' may have.
well spoken

I've seen it happen on a few occasions - I've even changed my own mind on a subject, however, I will leave you to guess what that was ..ha ha.

Most minister/pastors will tell you, the most dangerous person in your congregation is the one who is unteachable!

As a forum user in a number of communities, I once thought "it'd be nice to join a Christian forum, meet some other Christians, learn something, encourage others." So I found and joined CC..How unprepared I was haha

Absolutely NO change in major issues at all....Most all CHRISTIANS are deep seated, extremely legalistic if they are older, and exremely New Age or liberal if younger. That should solve your problem in trying to understand when Christians argue and debate. I've chatted with those who believe in "it's okay to be gay, or living with a person who is not their spouse, or worse" and I've chatted with those who are 'once saved, always saved" and "IF your body are pierced and loaded with tatoos, you are going to hell!". But, I'd rather be a CHRISTIAN than join the world's viewpoint. The world is much worse and offers no eternal hope.

I have changed my position but not on here. I was once a Calvinist OSAS and did not believe in sinless perfection. I have changed those positions. No-one could change my mind back again and especially over perfection. After having those revealed to me l studied scripture in depth to confirm them. Previous to that l had not studied them on my own, l just accepted what l had been taught and in fact nearly lost my faith till l had further revelation and now my faith is very strong, strong enough to keep me secure despite extremely challenging circumstances including severe health problems and isolation.

We actually share "like" pasts...a few years ago i had the truth about sanctified walking revealed to me. I do very well at no longer willingly and knowingly sinning- still perfecting my walk by the power of the Holy Spirit, and its quite easy actually....i find it harder to choose to willingly sin than many would believe...

I actually am the most teachable guy you can find- open to being wrong and always seeking the truth, whatever that may be....i suppose that is why many do not grow here- they are not teachable.

I have changed my beliefs since coming here.
1.) HAD- The bible is an infallible God breathed document....HAVE - I see its flaws, however miniscule...and am amazed that the finding in no way gives me a license to sin or behave unseemly, rather it causes me to have a greater faith and deeper trust in Gods ability to reveal truth within the bible and reveal fault among false teachers. This site has actually shown me that. Thank you....

By reading several pages of your theology debated, it has been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit that the bible is in fact less than perfect due to mans involvement. In all of your efforts to prove scripture perfect, you have actually done quite the opposite. Your attitudes and demeanor helped reveal the false teachings as well- pretty sad when a man uses confusion as a weapon against those seeking truth, and once having confused someone and turned their words against them- gloat in having confused them and made them appear "less than able to debate"- and im saying this part nicely. The ability to outwit is supreme here, and pride runs rampant. Its sickening really-

All things said though, i praise God for His Holy Spirit which teaches us all things and confirms all things.

My advice? Start teaching with love and not prideful motivation and THEN you will reap fruit. Funny that the vast majority of you are admitting "NO FRUIT REAPED" from this site.....read into that statement if you will, it is the Spirit of God convicting you.

In Love, and In the name above all names, and the King above all Kings, Jesus Christ.

I was a Pre tribulationist. At the time I believed that it was the majority christian view as everyone I knew thought the same.
It was only when I began to find and read opposing views and widened my Bible study that I realised it was seriously flawed
