One time I took the time to do some rough calculations and it would appear that possibly around 5million jews and or people died in the camps. But the other thing is that the winners of any war write history. So they could say anything. That's why we have all these weird stories about the nazi's. Some true some not so true. We'll probably never really know what all was true and what wasn't anymore.

I have never heard anything so stupid. Yes I said stupid. Your ignorant comments know no bounds. It is truly impossible to have an intellegent conversation with you.
This is the response you get from someone that lacks humility and much of your understanding lacks the grace of God. You call it stupid and ignorant because you refuse to identify with the fact that is might be true, especially when it comes to the matters of the heart. If you identify with it, it does not bear well with you and those of your persuasion. That is what an obstinate heart is like. The reason that Christ and His name was such a stumbling block (scandal and offensive) to the Jews is because or their refusal and obstinate heart to receive Him as Messiah and under the name that was given to Him in the NT (Iesous). Another word for being obstinate is to be 'stiff-necked'. The Jews rejected Him and the name that He was to be called being given to Him. The name JESUS identified Him with an earthly origin, with earthly parents that were sinners.

Anything you do not want to identify with you reject and label it with ridicule. Did our precious Lord Jesus Christ identify with sinners, not by having sinned or knowing sin, but by becoming sin and condemning sin in His flesh, which the law could not do because of the flesh? And did He not put away all our sin? The disciples that He called to follow Him did not understand who He was and where He came from and did not appreciate His name until much later.

Let's see how honest you really are before YHWH, who I believe to be the name of God, yet I will refer to Him as GOD and call Him the Father as His Son did when He prayed and taught the disciples to pray, 'Our Father who are in heaven, hallowed by thy name... What name do you think Jesus was referring to? There is absolutely no disrespect on my part or anyone else's that refer to Him as such.

Here is the honest thing. When you read or have quoted this next passage, as so many have done, what is the name that you have referred to in the passage, is it 'YHWH, Yeshua or Jesus OR does it have something to do with the nature and source of these things (prophecies, casting out devils, many wonderful works) that makes it unacceptable and rejected...

Mt 7:21,22

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

I put my life on the line and tell you this, that most Jew or Gentile, referring to this passage, substituted the name 'JESUS' and put it right in that passage. I don't think they put the name of 'YHWH, 'Yeshua', not even you. Now, that you have a chance to think about it, you can change it to whatever you want, just so it sounds good, acceptable, knowledgeable and educated, or you can say that I have topped my ignorance with this one.

Why is the name of JESUS such a stumblingblock to so many that consider themselves to be children of YHWH or have salvation in Yeshua? Is the Hebrew language the holy language that was given to Abraham and passed down to his descendants? Is that the reason? What was the language that Job spoke that came from the land of Uz or (Utz). Perhaps they were the ones who passed down the recipe for those potato chips.

Seventy-one (71) times God is mentioned in the book of HEBREWS and eighteen times (18) in the epistle of James that was specifically written to the (12) tribes of Israel (Jm 1:1) and not one time is His name mentioned as YHWH or Yeshua with any kind of emphasis made at all to make sure that believers got His name right. If any books of the NT were going to make an issue with the name of God and our Lord Jesus Christ for those that would believe, it would be in these books, but it is not and the Holy Spirit, who inspired them, gave it no significance or fore-thought. You may not think that to be significant but I do. If we do not give special attention to what is not mentioned in the scriptures, we will have the tendency to add to the scriptures (even justification for the omission) which is forbidden in the OT as well as the NT (Prov 30:6, Rev 22:18) and considered to be the great transgression of presumption (Ps 19:13).

Jobs friends were a prime example of those that added to God's counsel (Job 42:1-9) and they had to humble themselves, offer burnt sacrifices and have Job pray for them so that God would deal with them according to their folly (v.8). They did not represent the name of God very well now did they. At some other time we can talk about Job, whether he was Hebrew or Gentile as an upright man and the language He spoke and the name he recognized as the name of God. Save it for a later time.

this act is not true faith, but religious rite. the religious acts are not the expression of love for God. The love for God is to love your brothers and your neighbors. The religious acts may satisfy you, but not God.

The stories that come out of that dark time are so awe inspiring.

"The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom was a life changing book for me. The absolute beauty of her spirit was so amazing to read. I came away from that book with a very changed outlook on a woman's value. Even after all this time since reading her book I will occasionally think on what an amazing example she placed for the rest of us.
