Matthew 28:19-20

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Please go back and re-read the thread rules. There is no skipping ahead to discussing various Commands. I am the one who will put forth the Commands so as to discuss in this Study. We are going thru the Commands as they appear in the BIble one by one. When we come to this command we can discuss it, but there will be no debate about it. This is not a debate thread. It is a Study Thread.

Thank you.

And may God bless you.

I am not debating and your first quote says to discuss all the commands, so I gave one of the biggest commands given by the Lord.

But I see it has to be your rules and nobody else has a say so..........Got it !!!

I would kindly ask you to be respectful.

I created the thread as a Study Thread and not as a Debate Thread. It is also a Thread I created (That has certain rules so as to keep the peace and to learn). If you do not stop in being disruptive in a Study Thread, I will report your posts. Thank you. And may God bless you.

Anyways, if you disagree with a study done here, you can create another thread and then post a link here in this thread so as to debate it elsewhere.

But a study thread allows input from others not a set of rules by one person for all others to abide by.
By placing your own rules suggests that only your input is correct and applies, and like you said if we disagree can go elsewhere.

That is not how study cessions are done as each person has the right to input their understanding of the scripture, and to point out by the word if yours is not in line. For studying the word is for all to receive truth and not for just one person to tell others this is the way it is or else hit the road.

The bible says the day to place yourself above others in knowledge is the day you will be made to look foolish.....

I am not restricting people to disagree or to debate if they provide a link to another thread so as to debate it elsewhere.

However, as for teaching others and having authority in that teaching: Well, Paul would be foolish because he said that what he had written should be considered as the LORD's Commandments. Anyways, I have reported your posts. Please stop and desist in being disruptive in a Study Thread or I will contact a Moderator.

52. Enter in at the strait gate: (Matthew 7:13).
(For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go therein).
Enter in at the straight or narrow gate. Unfortunately, today, most professing believers are on the wide gate path. This in line with what Jesus said. Narrow is the way and few be there that find it. So it is extremely important that we seek what God is really saying in His Word that is not a part of the popular church today. Enter in at the straight gate. Seek the narrow path. Do not look to what is popular or so as to be accepted by others. Seek to please God. Pray to Him so as to lead you into that staight gate and narrow way and He will guide you thru.

74. Make the tree good and it's fruit good. (Matthew 12:33).
Make the tree good and it's fruit good.

This is so beautiful. I love this verse. Who's fruit do we ultimately bring forth? Our own fruit or God's fruit? Well, the Scriptures say the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, etc.

"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." (Romans 14:17).

So the fruit we are supposed to have in our life is supposed to be from God. For there is none good but God. For we are the tree, the temple, or the clay jar. But it is the LORD within who is bring forth the good fruit; And it is the LORD who is the One who will destroy any bad fruit that we might have had lingering in our past life (That might resurface on rare occasion). For the Scriptures say that Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Jesus came to set the captives free. For without Christ we are nothing. He is the source of our freedom in everything.

So we make the Tree good (our body and life) and our fruit (deeds) good by surrendering our life to Christ according to His Word.

Angel371.

Thank you for your contributions. But please read the beginning of the thread rules. I hope you understand, but in this Study, I am the only one who will put forth the Commands in the New Testament within this thread for everyone here to discuss. For it is a Study whereby we will go over the Commands one by one as they appear in the Bible. I am doing this so as to not miss any Commands in Scripture.

Anyways, welcome to the site, and I do hope you grow in the Word of God here.

May the LORD's love, and protection be unto you this fine day.

Sincerely,

~ Jason.

Gosh darn Jason, If you could incorporate grace in your theology..........you would be a FORCE on this site. And I am not kidding.

God works in mysterious ways. Sir, if you ever do find/recognize the Grace of God, I wouldn't want to debate ya.
Yes, I look forward to that day, too.

Then the thread title will read All the NT Freedoms Jesus Reveals to us

75. By your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
(Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment). (Matthew 12:37, 36).
Most Christians do not think they will be condemned by their own words because they believe all their sins are covered automatically by God's grace. But the Scriptures say that every idle word that men shall speak they shall give an account thereof in the day of Judgment. So if you speak in a way that is not loving towards others or with their best interest at heart, then things are not going to go well for you after you die. For Jesus says by your words you will be justified and by your words you shall be condemned.
