Thank you,I will read those, you can post anything here, regarding scripture.....

Faith comes by hearing indeed.....hearing in your spirit,God testifying to our spirit that we are His Child.
Your spirit connecting with the Holy Spirit, made alive in Christ,a new birth a new relationship has begun with God and myself,..which is a Honour and Privilege.
Without ever reading a bible, not once.

God chose me he drew me,no choice, all very natural as it was the will of God,Never ever to deny.

Thoughts full of Jesus....very private revelation.

Can you explain what.....a human spirit being quickened is?

Has your spirit been quickened?

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God....no one is saved without hearing the word of God, receiving it by faith and confessing it by faith.

Faith COMES by the word of God.

What you purport contradicts scripture

By the way @dcontroversal .....God’s ways are higher than your ways,His thoughts are Higher than your thoughts.

Without the the Holy Spirit....your thoughts are that of your own.which means nada/ zero.

Where as Spirit gives birth to Spirit.......Flesh gives birth to Flesh?.....a natural man...only the Holy Spirit can lead you through scripture.

Without out Him....zero/ nada understanding.
God is bound by his word which he has magnified above his very name...

He said....Faith comes by HEARING and Hearing by the word of God

NO ONE is saved without the word of God being proclaimed and then received in faith!

Once again no answer to my reply.

Just your own understanding....which is very narrow and closed...no offence.

Quite a few have tried to explain to you.....you kick against it...your choice.....

God is higher than you and so are the ways he chooses and draws his children....you have no idea how they hear the word of God.

For me I heard without ever reading a bible....God knows me inside out his plan for my life was perfect and so was his drawing of me.

Unfortunately you dc can’t understand that...so pray that God opens up your mind to what he is saying.

By the way for me.it helps greatly when I humble myself before Him.

My high horse gets me zero/ nada results....because then I am trying to be like God and He ain’t having none of that.

So I thank him for showing me that....Only one God and we know who he is....

NO ONE is saved without the word of God being proclaimed and then received in faith!
That is exactly what the Bible says.

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Rom 1:16,17)

ROMANS 10: THE NECESSITY OF THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL
4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

First, I admit that I think I know the answer to this question. So I'm using it as a provocation to discussion on it. In John 7:39 the King James renders it; "(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified)". But the word "given" is in italics to show that the word does not appear in the original texts. Thus, Darby (correctly) renders this verse;

"But this he said concerning the Spirit, which they that believed on him were about to receive; for [the] Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified." (Darby)

But immediately a difficulty arises. The meaning of the verse changes dramaticaly. It now means that the Holy Spirit, which the Disciples received in John 20:22) did not exist yet in John 7:39! Young's literla translation agrees with Darby. It reads;

"and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified" (YLT)

What then is the truth? Was the Holy Spirit "not yet" - that is, He did not exist yet until Christ's resurrection?
The Holy Spirit is spoken of through out the old testament

Has God ever spoken to you in an audible voice?

Does anyone also speak in tongues?

But that wasn’t the Spirit of Jesus, that was God.

God came as a man who was Jesus,a human man who was the Fathers Son.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:14, 18‬ ‭

“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
‭‭John‬ ‭17:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

he is and was God always it is his spirit we receive they are one .

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is God he became one of us to tell us the truth to receive the Holy Spirit should reveal something

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”

100% agree, yet the Calvinites peddle a gospel-less forced, God willed salvation where the word of God is not needed and only gets explained after the fact....

My bible does not teach that blather!

Brother dc,
we want to hear you teach and preach The Word -
oh how hub and I love your zealous spirit, but to continually 'debate'
a dead horse is fruitless after you have made your point...
we must follow our dear Holy Spirit's guide and move-on and understand
that there is a 'time and a purpose under heaven for everything'............
we Love you dearly...
