Acts 18.6

¶After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;

2And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome and came unto them.

3And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

4And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

5¶And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

6And when they opposed themselves themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Now we see here the words " opposed THEMSELVES '
Which is 'antitasso' ( Greek)

OK now with this in mind let's look at a famous calvinist proof text .

48¶And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Ok the word ' ordained ' is tasso

What's my point ?
If they opposed themselves 'antitasso' in Acts 18 .6

Then in Acts 13 they did the opposite . They themselves disposed themselves . There is no mention of God doing anything here .
48¶And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained( tasso) to eternal life believed.

We are obviously not preprogrammed robots. The Atonement and the whole concept of sin would be meaningless if we where. Calvinists are locked into an uphill struggle with reality.

I am new here and just getting started. As i have walked my Christian journey I became aware of Calvinism and the large number of people that believe in Calvinist doctrine. After much study I just cannot rationalize how someone can read the Bible, understand the nature of God, understand the message of Christianity and still believe Calvinism is true. It doesn't make any logical sense at all.
