Did you read that on a "we hate a mormon website"?

The Mormon Jesus is very much the Biblical Jesus (at least as much as most other denominations). Please check online and you will see.

I was raised Mormon and although never a practising Mormon I am aware of the teaching, customs and practises of the Church LDS.

The "Book of Mormon" is alternate teaching. Joseph Smith may be a false prophet but
Jesus is exalted in Mormonism,,it is after all a "Christian" denomination and people I met/meet who are friends of my mother from her church are lovely people.

Peace
More fertilizer for the hard winter ahead.........good, won't need to reseed my yard this year

What facts??????

You have stated supposition, then supposition then followed that with more biased brother slandering (a biblical no no!!)

If we tried I bet I could pick a problem in every Christian denomination anyone could name, but that isn't Christian Love it is spiteful, gossiping and not of the Spirit.

Hey man, I would give you the shirt off my back if you really needed it and I bet a lot of the brothers/sisters from all sorts of backgrounds and denominations would too.

Peace
and even more fertilizer...........Mormon church is NOT a Christian Denomination............good grief

I am not a Mormon, my mother is Mormon.

I am not saying I agree with the Book of Mormon.

Simply stating that they are a Christian organisation who confess the same of Salvation in faith alone by Christ alone. They organize Baptisms, Tithe, Have Missionaries, Help poor etc,

They have an exalted view of Our Lord. My mum does not smoke, drink alcohol, swear, watch profane TV or listen to secular music etc. She reads the Bible and can quote it better than most.

I have read the Bible numerous times. I am not any denomination but trust Lord for all people and what they learn.

You are exclusionist and that leads to secularism.

Peace
and you are just reciting what the Mormon leadership feeds "lower level" Mormons before sending them out into the world to seek converts............just enough LIKE Christianity to convince the innocent that Mormonism is the same as Christianity.

Well, as they say, ignorance is no excuse.

People deserve hell, not based on whether they know Jesus or not, they deserve hell because they have broken all of God's commandments in thought or deed.

(I am not speaking of little children or the mentally handicapped, who are incapable of knowing).
The disciples were a band of misfits who had broken commandments, in your thoughts are these gentlemen in hell now?

Well Judas is in Hell, because he betrayed Jesus then hung himself. I believe that Peter is in Heaven because he was forgiven even though he denied Jesus. The rest of the disciples I believe also are in Heaven.

Joseph Smith apparently wanted to set his followers straight when he proclaimed the following at the Mormon Church's General Conference in April, 1844:

I am going to tell you how God came to be God. We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea, and take away the veil, so that you may see. … It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the character of God and to know...that he was once a man like us.... (“King Follett Discourse,” Journal of Discourses 6:3-4, also in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, 345-346, and History of the Church, vol. 6, 305-307, emphasis added)

THE ABOVE IS NOT THE SAME GOD AS CHRISTIANS AND JEWS.

I can't imagine walking into hell and seeing little kids burning in the lake of fire. I don't know when they are actually held accountable for not accepting Jesus but I wonder if it is the age 13 where their bodies begin to become more adult like?

ignorance just means you have no knowledge of something. if you were told to build a rocket to the moon but couldnt do it, would it be fair to say "ignorance is no excuse". i think ignorance is confused with stupidity which would make those using that phrase the foolish ones. no offense.

im pretty sure that the innocent as well as many ignorant are ok. our Lord doesnt punish the innocent.

I think it's more a spiritual/mental milestone than a particular age. I've always held that accountability comes at whatever point we think we know enough to make a decision on Christ.
