I want to issue a public apology for my actions towards ANW9, and my behavior towards our fellow brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. I can have a tendency to be immature, and rash. I feel I can be a hothead, and emotionally driven at times. I know that I have a lot of growing to do, both spiritually and mentally.

I know that I am saved through Christ, by faith, and not of works, lest I should boast. I have nothing to boast in. I am a wretched sinner, I make mistakes. I am quite stupid at times (just see some of my latest threads!). I do not mean to offend our brothers and sisters, which somewhat was my ill intentions before. I lost sight of the simplicity of the gospel, and got caught up in petty disputes about doctrine.

I have been doing a lot of studying in the Bible lately (read about half the New Testament in the past week), and it hs really allowed me to grow in the faith. Earlier, I read in Hebrews, which exhorts us to move on from the Milk, and move onto the meat. We need to avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. (Titus 3:9) We may not agree on doctrines, but we can agree on the truth of God's love for us, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)

I apologize for my actions. It was not reflective of Christ. It was of the flesh, and would like to repent of my foolish actions.

James 4:6 ESV "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Yahdah (Jude) 1:3, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you about the common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once, for all, delivered to the saints."

Thank you for your apology, you displayed great maturity. But everyone has the right to study to see which church matches the one true church of the bible. I believe the Church of Christ is that church, but we all have freewill to consider for ourselves. Thank you for your kind gesture.

You display maturity when it comes to humility, that's for sure.
That is a gift from God, as well as a necessity for wisdom.

It is not trivial to question whether or not a teaching is Biblical.
This is necessary for knowledge.

We are all born knowing nothing and all make our mistakes.
Always ask yourself whether your intentions are motivated by the Spirit
or the flesh before acting if possible.
The mind set on the flesh is death. So instead put the flesh and its ways to death.
The Spirit of God is powerful and more than capable to keep you.

Does it matter what church we attend as long as it lines up Biblically? There are too many denominations. It's hard to tell what is the complete 100 percent. I attend a baptist one. Do they have all the answers? No. No church does. Coming to a place like CC there are many of different people from different denominations and at the end of the day it's about building one another. I don't know much about the Church of Christ. But it took a lot of conviction and maturity on your part to acknowledge your mistake in public.

I just got on, not sure what you had written before and not going to look for it. I will say I thought it was very refreshing to see such humility in your post above. I think as Christians we should be growing every year and God does change us as we go and open our eyes to things displeasing to Him, and sometimes chastens us when needed as we are His own. Thanks for writing that, it's a good reminder to us all.
