Amen. I agree with this. Why base your view on something off one scripture in the bible. My pastor always says there need to be at least three for it to be something you can firmly say is of God. This scripture was talking about a specific group of women, not all women for all time.

Yea, as it did with me. i could explain some parts, but the ''saved by child beard ' was a bit beyond me, but the answer was simple.

Actually, that page does not have the correct explanation about the reference to childbearing.

Paul was refuting a specific religious practice based on the Roman goddess Diana in which the woman would dominate the man, which the cult of Diana taught that would cause the goddess to protect the women through child-birth. (Which was very dangerous in those days.)

Paul is saying that, no, don't practice sexual domination. Do things properly, have faith in Christ, and God will protect you through child-birth.
