Nauseating blasphemies such as "God spoke Jesus into existence."
These cult followers here of Wommack need to wake up, smell the coffee and read the Scriptures.
He isn't saying Jesus hasn't always been with God. He is talking about the birth of the human Jesus. The Word of God has always been there and Jesus is the living Word.

Too bad Wommack doesn't believe that Statement. He contradicts many of those points in the above video.
Let people view both and decide for themselves.

I was thinking, how can he believe in the trinity when he just declared God spoke Jesus into existence at his birth. unless like I said, the video feed shown was taken out of context

He said the HS spoke the words in the OT, And God gave those words life.

That is not saying jesus was alive in the OT. did you even listen to it?

Nope. There were two different points He made (both wrong). Obviously you didn't listen carefully to the first section.

wow. I only listened to it for a two minutes, and got this.
Man made satan who he is! WHAT??

Satan did crucify Jesus, But He did not kill Jesus or take him to hell. Jesus allowed himself to die physically, He gave up his Ghost, Satan did not take it.

A pig, and even fungus has more authority than satan.. WHAT?? Did Not Jesus call satan the ruler of this world? the father of the cosmos system, Does this guy even read scripture?

God spoke him into existence? He was not around before he came to earth? no need to even go further, He denys who Jesus was.

all you people trying to stick up for this man. I gave ya the benefit of the doubt by not reading what Crossnote posted to get my own opinion by listening to the man, But now that I have heard his literal words. You people better run and hide, and find another man who professes the truth of Gods word. I could not even listen to anything else.. Unless someone can show me where he was taken out of context in these clips (although I do not know how you can do that) this is nuts!
If you look at the KJV bible it doesn't differentiate between hell and hades. I believe Andrew uses a KJV bible and therefore is quoting it from that.

1 Peter 3:18-2
"For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; 19 in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison, 20 who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water."

So according to this passage Jesus went to Hades to proclaim to the spirits in prison. So if someone is quoting from the KJV bible they won't say hades they will say hell.

Unless someone disagrees where Jesus went when He died.

I've listened to pretty much all of Andrews teachings and I can tell you I'm not coming up with the same conclusion you people are.

Apparently Jesus disagrees with you where He was going, duh,

Luke 23:43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

And if we disagree that is ok also. I believe we can all agree Jesus died for our sins and rose again and is the son of God right? Different denominations will disagree on a number of theological things. Doesn't mean we can't still love each other in Christ and not attack each other.

Seems the posts I have read about WoF ministers got pretty ugly with attacks from Christian brothers and sisters. Not much love coming from a majority of posters here.

If we can't post out of love and just post out of pride then there is no sense in saying anything. I love everyone here and wish everyone can think about his before they put their fingers to the keyboard. Ask yourself, am I responding because it will glorify Christ or am I just responding because I want to be right and I am the only one who will make it right.

God doesn't need defending, He has been here way longer than us and can defend Himself just fine.

Then how do you explain 1 Peter 3:18-20?

I do understand those words came from Christ, but didn't Christ rise from the dead in three days? So you are saying He went to paradise (heaven) and then returned, and then went back to paradise?

Yes, I’ve heard of Wommack. Several Christians I fellowship with are into him and their understanding of his teaching regarding sin didn’t seem to line up with Scripture, so I took the time to check out his teaching in order to reason with these folks.

The first red flag one notices is Wommack’s criticism of traditional evangelical Christian theology, correcting it with his own spin on Biblical teachings.

As far as sin goes AM claims, “If you’re conscious of sin, then you truly don’t understand the grace of your salvation through Jesus” (Is Jesus Enough?)
Of David’s prayer of repentance after the Bathsheba affair (Psalms 51:10-12) Wommack says, “However, for us as New Testament believers to pray this same prayer would be an insult to what Christ has done for us” because,If you have made Jesus your Lord, you’ve become a new creature, and sin is no longer an issue between you and God” (Hebrew Highlights—based mostly on Hebrews chapters 9and 10, except he seems to ignore 10:26-31).

There is an element of truth in Wommack’s teaching; the believer’s sins are forgiven and there is no more condemnation (Rom. 8:1), however, that does not mean believers are not aware of and responsible for sins in their lives. Scripture teaches believers over and over not to ignore sin (1 Jn. 1:8) but to get rid of it (Hebrews 12:1; James 1:21). Believers are to confess their sins rather then deny they exist (Jn. 1:9, 10; James 5:16) for we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 Jn. 2:1). Clearly, the believer is to be aware of sin in his/her life and repent of it just as David. Jesus taught his disciples to ask for forgiveness from sin when they prayed (Mt. 6:12; Lk. 11:4), and Paul taught that Godly sorrow resulting from sin brings repentance in a Christian’s life (2 Cor. 7:9-11).

To say a believer should not have a consciousness of sin is not Biblical. When a believer sins he grieves the Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:30), Paul was aware and concerned with sin in the Corinthian church (2 Cor. 11:29) and if believers see sin in a brother’s life, they are to confront him with it (Gal. 6:1; James 5:19; 1 Jn. 5:16). I guess Wommack thinks the believer should be oblivious to sin in his/her life while everyone around them is aware of it.
This is a concise overview of some of Wommack’s teaching that affected my friends. Some folks get carried away by the personality of various faith healers and teachers to their own loss. Personally, I learned long ago not to put faith in this type of ministry. Wommack’s teaching is like eating a Twinkie; it may feel good eating it, but in reality his teaching is hollow on the inside, crummy on the outside, and it sure isn’t good for you.
I took the time out to check him also because someone I care about recently plugged into Wommack's ministry

He does say some good and practical things, but he does have this unbiblical slant to his teaching

One thing I found out, is that he teaches that Jesus Christ could not have been born if OT prophets had not prophesied Him into existence

Really? Jesus ONLY came into existence because of what prophets said?

I'm pretty sure that the prophets said He was coming because God planned it

Just some really weird stuff being taught IMO...and then there was also the whole questionable episode with one of his son's that was supposed to have been brought back to life

You can't find much about it on the net...which indicates some good 'scrubbing' (ie..search, find and delete even it means hacking into someone elses site)...but I did find where the son apparently overdosed on drugs and was in a coma and not dead...so...just seems to be some very gray areas going on with Mr Wommack

You did not listen to the tape. Andrew said SATAN TOOK HIM TO HELL. He did not do anything of the sort.

So very typical of armchair critics...youtube junk. As soon as one of you post one of these, your credibility drops to zero. You can't come up with a valid reason for your knee-jerk dissension, so you let ignoramuses who create out-of-context videos speak for you. I wonder how you will explain that to God?

I just took him word for word. Again, if I took him out of context. show me in context with his own words what he was saying/

I doubt you do that, with the nonsense you spout about people who actually know the word and teach its truths.

At one minute 30 sec into the clip..
"God spoke Jesus into existence through a dozen possibly hundreds of people over a 4000 year period"

He did go preach to the spirits. he told them their fate was sealed. and he won victory. He did not go to hell as in punishment, that would be a false truth I have heard some people say.

Try doing the intelligent thing if you can. Watch him for one week and then come and discuss it. Until you actually know what you're talking about, you come off as a twit, and with no credibility.

uh...that's really kind of mean Nancy...where do Christians get off calling others a twit?

Actually, I have researched Wommack myself and he IS 'out there'...I speak in tongues and all the other goosebumpy stuff, but I don't turn off my discernment because someone seems like a nice guy

I don't want to argue with you...or trade insults...but I am alarmed when I read a post like yours in response to crossnote, because it is irrational, accusatory and just plain not nice

I worship no man, but many do simply because they get off on emotions and like a certain style...I'm not saying that is you, but those who are spirit filled are no better than those who are not and just maybe, probably and quite likely, actually have more to answer for than those who are not. God has not shown us any more favor than those who deny the gifts...which often happens because of the misuse and attitudes displayed as though holier meant tongues or feelings

I'm pretty sure we are both saved though

Drawing such hard lines in the sand does not help anyone

Either Wommack is spot on...or he's not...I don't think he is for more than one reason
