I must learn patience better.

Matthew Henry answered my question in the part I studied today. Angels are a big deal. The Lord has chosen to make his people the biggest deal. He gives them more love than even angels.

Hebrews 2:14-18

The angels fell, and remained without hope or help. Christ never designed to be the Saviour of the fallen angels, therefore he did not take their nature; and the nature of angels could not be an atoning sacrifice for the sin of man. Here is a price paid, enough for all, and suitable to all, for it was in our nature. Here the wonderful love of God appeared, that, when Christ knew what he must suffer in our nature, and how he must die in it, yet he readily took it upon him. And this atonement made way for his people's deliverance from Satan's bondage, and for the pardon of their sins through faith. Let those who dread death, and strive to get the better of their terrors, no longer attempt to outbrave or to stifle them, no longer grow careless or wicked through despair. Let them not expect help from the world, or human devices; but let them seek pardon, peace, grace, and a lively hope of heaven, by faith in Him who died and rose again, that thus they may rise above the fear of death. The remembrance of his own sorrows and temptations, makes Christ mindful of the trials of his people, and ready to help them. He is ready and willing to succour those who are tempted, and seek him. He became man, and was tempted, that he might be every way qualified to succour his people, seeing that he had passed through the same temptations himself, but continued perfectly free from sin. Then let not the afflicted and tempted despond, or give place to Satan, as if temptations made it wrong for them to come to the Lord in prayer. Not soul ever perished under temptation, that cried unto the Lord from real alarm at its danger, with faith and expectation of relief. This is our duty upon our first being surprised by temptations, and would stop their progress, which is our wisdom.

Angels appeared to the Hebrews to give them messages from Jehovah God. Some of the appearances were pre-incarnate visits of Christ.

How do you relate to angels?

NT Jude says Michael of Daniel 10 and 12 is an archangel. Daniel's lord (Jesus) of Daniel 10 and 12 calls Michael the prince of Israel who fights the prince of Persia so Daniel's lord can meet with Daniel.
Daniel 8, Jesus is the Prince of princes.
I have heard the Jews believed a demon and an angel followed them home after work.
Angels are in the OT but not in the first 5 books of the OT called the Torah by Jews.
The Sadducees believed in the Torah but not the rest of the OT.
They didn't believe in an afterlife.
The Pharisees believed in the entire OT.

Hebrews 1:8-9, Jesus was anointed from his companions.
Who were his companions?
I suggest the context of Hebrews 1 argues that His companions were angels or
this verse is not understandable and should be left for the Messiah to explain to us.
This goes against the doctrine of God the Son eternally with the God the Father;
but it agrees with the typology in Genesis of the son who is chosen by the father to be called the firstborn;
which the writer of Hebrews mentions.
If you argue against me, please see if you can explain Jesus' anointing from his companions as a literal event that took place before "in the beginning." It could not refer to his baptism as a human because it is located in Hebrews 1 not Hebrews 2 and it quotes Psalms 45:6-7.

The message of Hebrews is perfection through suffering;
using Jesus as the example (Hebrews 4-5);
and the famous faithful of the OT (Hebrews 11).

I think Timothy wrote Hebrews.
Familiar with Greek (his father was Greek but would not let Timothy be circumcised).
His father was stern and demanding (see Hebrews 12)
His mother and grandmother were Jews.
The writer mentions that Timothy was recently released from prison and they would all see each other soon in the closing.

Angels are in the OT but not in the first 5 books of the OT called the Torah by Jews.
That is incorrect. There are multiple incidents of angels appearing to men in the Torah.

1. Evil angels seduced humanity before the Flood and were responsible for a great deal of wickedness.
2. God (pre-incarnate Jesus) appeared to Abraham along with two angels when he sat outside his tent.
3. Angels were sent to drag Lot and his family out of Sodom.
4. The angel of the LORD (pre-incarnate Christ) appeared to Jacob and wrestled with him.
5. A band of angels appeared to Jacob after he met with Esau and before he wrestled.
6. "The angel of His presence" (Christ) accompanied the Israelites in the pillar of cloud and fire.

This is just off the top of my head.
