John, you are dodging the direct question again.
You are not being asked what you hope is there
(in fact, in all the accounts I've heard from people visiting Heaven and returning- both biblically accurate and those that are obviously made up- no one I have heard has EVER claimed of witnessing sex in heaven)
what you ARE being asked is if it's not going on there will YOU still want to be there?
(keep in mind if you don't end up in Heaven what the other option is)
So only people in hell have sex? LOL

where does it say that they could? There was a law given at that time.

Do you know what it said?

Read Genesis 4: 15

15 And the Lord said to him, “Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.

This same law was repeated by Lamech, who killed a man, it seems he said to his wives.

23 Then Lamech said to his wives:

“Adah and Zillah, hear my voice;
Wives of Lamech, listen to my speech!
For I have killed a man for wounding me,
Even a young man for hurting me.
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold,
Then Lamech seventy-sevenfold.”

Where did he get that idea about avenged sevenfold? it was a law of the land, was it not?

If you read, there are many things we know from these chapters that men were doing to show the depravity of sin in men.

  1. Not all were " walking with God
  2. they were marrying and giving in marriage as Jesus said they were noticed the more than one wife
  3. they were still killing each other
  4. they were wicked, and we know it had to do with perversion and "the thoughts of his heart was only evil "Gen 6:5
Jesus said
Matt 24:37-39

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

The sin of men and evil in his heart. They did not walk with GOD. They were offering things to God He rejected; they murdered and killed and did not show grace or mercy. That is all in Genesis chapter 4 to 6
This was about Cain, so no one would kill him. Has nothing to do with this topic

Does not change the fact that God does not want believers to be yoked to
unbelievers,
"... for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods.”
So a union with unbelievers creates giants?

If you have studied genetics you wouldn't scoff at this. If groups of people who were not previously mating began to, the expression of recessive genes is quite likely.

I quoted Paul. So is Paul lying?
Sin began with adam. By the time of noah all flesh was corrupt. For you even to suggest there was no sin because of no law is a lie.
Right at the beginning of the story of cain and abel offerings were given unto the Lord. One accepted one rejected.
So scripture suggest and shows a way of the Lord.
The Lord said to cain....sin lays at your door, scripture also tells us all have sinned....there is none righteous.
I have no idea what bible you are reading out of or what you tube wannabe you are listening to.

If it's a lie, what does Romans 5:13 mean then?
Paul was talking about the sin of adam found in every man brought death to all.
When God gave the law to israel through moses it was to recognize personal sin. God dealt with individuals.
The sacrfices were to cover over untill JESUS. Reconciliation means to cover.
The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is everlasting life.
We now enter in through faith in Christ Jesus.
We know this now as original sin...adam.....brought death. and personal sin ...rejection. Either way we all are sinners.
We are born sinners because of adam. We cannot escape death
Paul said.... it is appointed to man once to die ...then the judgment.
Born once die twice. Born twice die once.......you need to be born again.

Silly man. I have never said, hinted at, insinuated, implied, or supported any such
thing. Besides which, "giants" exist to this day... Angels have nothing to do with it.

And, I also told you why believers are not to be yoked to non-believers.

I quoted the very Scripture verse that gives the reason.

Do you just conveniently ignore what does not suit your agenda?

I understand all that. You seem to have some issue with what you thought JohnB was implying when he posted this verse. I've decided I'll just stay out of it and let the two of you hash it out.

the giants were mighty men of war. as it says.
Agreed, It Does!

הַנְּפִלִ֞ים הָי֣וּ בָאָ֘רֶץ֮ בַּיָּמִ֣ים הָהֵם֒ וְגַ֣ם אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֗ן אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָבֹ֜אוּ בְּנֵ֤י הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־בְּנ֣וֹת הָֽאָדָ֔ם וְיָלְד֖וּ לָהֶ֑ם הֵ֧מָּה הַגִּבֹּרִ֛ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר מֵעוֹלָ֖ם אַנְשֵׁ֥י הַשֵּֽׁם׃ {פ}
It was then, and later too, that the Nephilim appeared on earth—when divine beings cohabited with the human women, who bore them offspring. Such were the heroes of old, the men of renown.

Which translation is that? From what I have seen, most say

ḇə·nê-
בְנֵי־

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm
הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙

Not "divine beings."

And, the view some hold calls demons sons of God. Which makes no sense at all
as you have done here = calling demons divine. The Bible does explicitly say:

For to which of the angels did God ever say: “You are My Son; today I have
become Your Father”? Or again: “I will be His Father, and He will be My Son”?

correct.

The word El oHyim has more than one meaning gods, angels, and men, depending on how it is used.

The term " Sons of God," identifies men as the creation of God in the context of Genesis, not angels. Bene-elohim= sons of God

The Father of Creation. The term is used only here, I believe because the fall of man was still a relatively new event that happened. As we see, Adam was still alive, and so was Eve in chapter end of chapters 4 and in 5.

I have heard repeatedly in church that angels cannot procreate. That is not true, according to the bible.

"when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown." Genesis 6:4. It had nothing to do with them being fallen angels. They were able to have children.
I am sure someone already posted this "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day."

It was after this...so exactly how we don't know. This was done only when they fell and never was or will happen again. Those that did this are in chains waiting judgement.

Agreed :D

Genesis six talks about God's displeasure with men, and men are continually the focus of God's attention in this chapter.

1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that
he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters
of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and
beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Angels are not even mentioned.

So you think that death is not a judgement? This is why death is in the world today. That the flood was not judgement.
God judges according to sin....why did everyone die by the judgment except noah and his kin?

Noah did not die, because this was about the corruption of the human gene line. Angels having sex with humans. Noah did die later.
