all he could feel is more need of Messiah.
or he could feel like MOST people. And more condemned, And if he is not secure in Christ, he will walk away. Why bother. I can't live up to Gods standard so why bother.

again, I am not speaking from my belief, I am speaking from experience.

A baby Christian is going to be too weak to stop EVERY sin issue he has in his life. He must understand his position in Christ, or he will be lost.

If it weren't for true love of believers, i would have ran , but love and hearing the word was what worked. If one person had
spoken condemnation to me, i would have not stepped a foot back in church. Those coming out of the world need love, they
are usually at their wits end.

Ms. damonbomb:

For example: Here is what Ephesians 2.8 & 9 says about lawkeeping:

.......................................................................

(It's by grace, through faith, not of works.)
Amen.............

That we have forgotten what our purpose is:

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Mark 1:17

36Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38"Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest." Matt 9:37
I don't think that word "focused" has a place in our walk with the Lord, unless it could be applied to Christ.

Our walk is like music---everything is to be in harmony.

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
(Gal 3:2-3)

Having begun in the Spirit..YEAH, let's be perfected by the law!!!
Wait, do I even have the Spirit? Is this why I depend so much on my own efforts?
Besides what does faith have to do with anything anyways??

I think it is like the pharisees like paul Who grew up is legalism (like myself) It does not affect us so much, because we see the example of our parents and leaders (we think we are already good, because they do)

It is the sinner coming out of the world it really affects.

The law was changed in any case, and we now draw near to God by a better hope.

I like to think in terms of us being changed...the Law is eternal.

Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
(Rom 7:4)

Paul taught from knowledge, the Torah which is a lamp and light. Perhaps we have lost our way.

Acts 28:23 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.

Amen, the law is just as much as it was today as it was when it was given.

the question is, Which one do we want to be married to? the law, or the Cross. You can not be married to both.

Yep.

And who did he teach here?

Jews who already knew the law. He was showing them the truth of the law. Not their perverted view of what the law meant.

I am not talking about talking to a churched person. I am talking about talking to someone who was in the world.

27"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.…

John 10:27

His sheep will hear his voice and answer the call

if you want to obey the law of Moses for any reason you need to circumcise in the flesh, this is absolutely clear in Paula writings.

You want to work around this saying that circumcision in the heart is a substitute, This was not the intention of Paul words. Is clear that circumcision of the heart means grace, and grace means live without the "law of moses".

To probe my point that the law has no effect for the gentiles, lets study the law of tithing!

Who the gentiles will pay tithing and who the Jew Christians will Pay tithing?

The gentiles will not be able to pay to the Levites!
and the Jew Christians will have to pay to the Levites.
So no one have to pay tithing to the christian church.

Are you able to show your ideas about this.

more importantly.

They have eternal life

they will never perish

and no one can snatch them from Gods hands.

If they do not understand this. Taking them to law will destroy them.

Matt1Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS

Well, exactly, and how anyone can somehow see law-keeping in such a passage I can't figure...

1Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, 2like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, 3if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

They will long for his word, after they have tasted and seen his kindness

How is that different than what I am saying? Except that you stress the last part of the verse, but you have to do the first part of the verse to find that last part.

My question, as we march toward Christianislam, the one universal religion that the Pope is speaking of, and what Revelations warns about, how are we who claim Christ supposed to know what Christ taught if we accept Him without accepting what He taught? If we say nothing matters except believing in Jesus and exclude the instructions, we will be deceived by the false prophet, for it is written he will deceive the world.

And I will again ask you. Who is teaching this?

No one in this room or this thread is saying what you just claimed we are saying.

when are you going to stop listening to what you have been TAUGHT we believe, and actually start listening to what we ACTUALLY believe.
