I don't present my "theology" but Bible truth. You can hurl whatever epithets you wish, but you cannot refute Bible truth, and Gospel truth. I have said it before and I will say it again -- Five Point Calvinism is a gross distortion of the Gospel and Bible truth. And I am not the only one who has recognized the errors therein. Perhaps its time to change your tune and your theology and stick to Bible truth.

There are many parts of the Calvinism theology I disagree with, one being the Total (depravity) as this word in itself describes a man as a destitute person, who has no hope, and cannot do anything for himself.

Having said that, I do believe that God chooses you based upon HIS knowledge of the future. That You will in the end TOTALLY Believe and Love HIM. I believe Man of His own 'free-will ' makes choices and GOD having seen these choices one makes in their lives decides to choose you or NOT.

Yes, you are Pre-Destined ( the ELECT) because in GOD's eyes, He already knows what the choices by way of FREE-WILL YOU have already made by the time the Last Member of His Church is SAVED!

He already knows that if one is saved in their earlier years for all the right reasons, during their life-time, they(many) can and do change their world views, lifestyles, religions, etc. and stray away from the Total Faith that HE requires.

I think the Reformed Theology has refined the Calvinist view and is better at explaining God's WORD. It follows many of the teachings of those who lived during the Reformation period and like its condemnation of the teaching of the RCC, it today focuses on the Evangelical movement and its need to be refined as many are straying away from the Word of GOD.

Correct. Total depravity misrepresents the condition of humanity and simply ignores the fact that all human beings have a conscience.
Having said that, I do believe that God chooses you based upon HIS knowledge of the future.
Since God does not choose anyone for salvation, He chooses for glorification -- "to be conformed to the image of His Son".
That You will in the end TOTALLY Believe and Love HIM. I believe Man of His own 'free-will ' makes choices and GOD having seen these choices one makes in their lives decides to choose you or NOT.
Correct. Sinners freely choose to obey or disobey the Gospel. If that were not the case then all of Israel should have been saved at the first coming of Christ.

There is no question that election and predestination are taught in the Bible. Where these terms should be applied is the issue.

There is much that is true in Reformed Theology, but there is also much that is false. For example, limited atonement is totally false, and I will be addressing that in a separate thread shortly. And once a single point of Five Point Calvinism is demolished, the rest of the points fall like dominoes.
