I have a question: Why do your biblical beliefs matter? Why do any human's beliefs matter? Are you implying that we should come to you for answers, or are we just having fun poking and probing into somebody's mind? Nobody's beliefs or opinions matter except GOD'S. And if anybody would take the opinions of a stranger on the internet as unquestioned truth, I think we have a problem.
Actually I agree only God opinion matters. That is why it is imperative to align our beliefs with His word. We do this by studying the word for ourselves. This thread are for those that want to get to know me and my understanding ofd the word better, or for those that are struggling with a certain subject and maybe I could help as I have read the N.T. over 300 times, and lean heavily on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and like you will take no mans word for it.

The problem arises when people such as strangelove want to come in and argue, causing strife, and disrupting the conversation ruining it for everyone.

He may think he is just giving me a hard time, but in reality is he disrespecting not only me, but you and anyone else that would like to have a mature discourse

I would say so. Although I know women deacons, and I do not openly oppose them, but I would not attend a church with a woman pastor. Just my opinion

Question/ marriage and divorce and remarriage ??
I would say absolutely not. There may be two exceptions. 1 in the case of adultery, but I am still undecided. The 2nd is if an unbeliever abandons a believer. We are told that the believer is free from the unbeliever in that case. I still haven't worked that one out either. However any other reason...NO.

I would question the christianity of anyone that had divorced and remarried after Salvation. However if you had divorced, and remarried 10 times before becoming a christian, that would all be washed away with repentance, all your old deeds forgotten, and you would have become a new creation in Christ.

Here is a 2 Corinthians 13:6 test of your beliefs.
1st Corinthians 13: (Love) 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Are the doctrines you promote "Sin Friendly Doctrines"? Are the principles you support or the concepts of God you encourage "Sin Friendly"? Jesus taught nothing that was "Sin Friendly"! Jesus became a man and died that we might be delivered from sin... Not to be friendly with it!

That reminds me. Jimmy. I dont mind answering a question that has been ask by someone else earlier. I just am no longer answering strangelove's questions because he asks the same ones over and over. Rather than unknowingly asking a question someone else may have already asked.

Adult or teenager. After salvation

So Anandahya, you agree with strangelove that sin is permissible, and overcoming is impossible?

Even though it is Christ that works through us, and we can do nothing in ourselves it is still us who must allow Him to work in us therefore partnering with Christ cleansing ourselves from all unrightouesness

1st Corinthians 15
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

2nd Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Galtians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.

Philippians 2
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

1st John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

See even though it is Christ that works in us, but it is we who must remain stedfast, crucify our flesh, making manifest our Savior, working out our own salvation, purifying ourselves, cleansing ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God, making ourselves ready for our Bridegroom King.
