I have seen this ENOUGH on this site. Someone asks a question, which first should be asked to God for an answer and not men, and then some people who think they are well equipped enough with knowledge, which is their own, and not the knowledge of God, answer these questions to no end. It all causes strife and the body is not united but divided (and the person who posts it never replies).

If anyone has a question about God, why not ask him? Is he deaf? Can he not answer you? Why do you want it from men who are limited? Do you believe that he is real? Do you believe he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him?

A lot of people perceive themselves as teachers, but are full of foolishness. Avoid foolish and unlearned questions, all they do is cause division in the body. If anyone has a question go to someone who is an elder, in private and have them answer it. Stop causing division because you would rather see men squabble over it. Please, brothers, and sisters in Christ, avoid this, because it only causes division. If you have an answer it should be that God has the answer. If you have any wisdom, it is wise to tell them to fear the Lord and seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and then their questions will be answer.

Stop arguing over petty stuff. Don't give place to Satan. May Jesus bless you.

Last night I heard out of Romans, and early this morning it came to me again. That these words are not my own.

1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;
19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

i like questions as long as the person is open to various answers and not just asking it so they can use the thread as a soap box for their opinion. If it is an HONEST question and not just a self glorification/justification tactic.

ISTM most of the questions asked or the topics raised on this Christian Chatroom are mostly foolish and unlearned questions. Not too many follow the ancient traditions of the true Church of Christ.

Sometimes God answers through the people He chooses.

I think people should choose to reply with scripture backing up their opinion.

Titus 3:9-11
But avoid foolish controversies and geneaologies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. Warn a divisive person once and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him. You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is condemned.
but of course, we must follow Jesus' teaching and forgive seventy times seventy times, if they repent.

Matthew 18:21-22
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[g]
Matthew 18:15-17
15 “If another believer[d] sins against you,[e] go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. 16 But if you are unsuccessful, take one or two others with you and go back again, so that everything you say may be confirmed by two or three witnesses. 17 If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector.

It seems to me questions are good things.
Lets look at this my friend. Jesus was asked many questions, some were noteworthy but others were not. What made these different? It is the intention behind the question. This is exactly what Jesus saw at all times. He knew the hearts of men. Two different people can ask the same exact question, but one with good intentions in honesty and purity seeking to know, and another with evil and wicked intentions seeking to confuse, or cause an uproar. Who is justifiable?

No one can call Jesus a sinner and be speaking by the Spirit of God. He was tempted in all things, YET he was found without sin. If we are tempted by the flesh, the old nature, we should also strive to be found sinless. What does this mean?

It means if someone hits you on the one cheek, offer him the other. It means loves those who hate you. Pray for those who persecute you. It means dealing GENTLY with those who would deal roughly with you. It means being patient, kind, gentle, never boastful or vanglorious, never lifted up with pride. Do not be ready to think evil of another person. Do not take a record of the evil someone has done to you, and do not mind if you have suffered injustice.

If a person truly seeks the Lord, the Lord will be found of him. And Jesus knows who are his own. May Jesus bless you.

While i see your point and it is a good one, I myself am not that well learned in the text. Ever more, i sometimes have difficulty readiing something and understanding simply by what i have read. Ive always had this kink in my learnings. i sometimes need explanations or it explained in a way that i myself cannot just read.
While i dont completly understand what is ment by trolls i do believe i might have run into some.
But i openly admit i also came here for fellowship, complanionship and yes, answers and i do hope that is an accepted thing.
I may be a bit quiet in the chats and im sorry but i am perhaps not one that as easily sits in the seats as the long time CC members.
And as far as who comes to ask questions..are you not soppose to answer as best thru His words..as we are the body..?
Jesus did pay a rather large price for us to pick choose who should come and arnt we the body of Christ..?
1 Corinthians 12:24-27
If we are the body..? YouTube - If We Are The Body
please dont be angry..frustrating as it may be you may be helping to save a soul and possibly a life and who knows how far down the wheel God means for you to pass that on.
Im not arguing against you as i see your point..just asking and wondering doesnt that apply?
God Bless

Yes there are some very foolish questions on CC but at the same time many of the people asking them are truly looking for answers they feel are left unanswered. Some people have not learned to recognize the voice of God and sometimes they do not have elders to go to or feel comfortable with.

yes, there is no such thing as a stupid question, unless the question is asked in a mocking way.

I don't look for discussion. I look for people who want to serve God. And for the people who would rather serve themselves, I present them with a warning. The warning that Jesus Christ is coming soon and he will be looking for a perfect bride.

I would rather have one or two hearing brothers or sisters than 100 hypocritical Christians. The harvest is truly great but the laborers are truly few. May Jesus bless you.

you can know everything in the world and if you do not LOVE your brothers and sisters do you know what God would call you?

You can have all the faith in God in the world but if you do not walk and SPEAK in LOVE, What is your name?

You could have all the spiritual gifts (or appear to have all of them) but if you do not have LOVE, what will you be called?

SATAN.

where is the love ya'll?

YouTube - The Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?

Just saying. I'd rather have God listen then 1000 brothers and sisters who do not walk and TALK in LOVE.
