Let's open his Word on that topic, no repentance in Church of Philadelphia and Church of Smyrna KJVRevelation3;7-13 and KJVRevelation2;8-11 but He's ask to repent another five Churches. Each of us is different in His eyes and no reason to make a problem.

Is that how you want to live?
I would like to naturally respond to every situation in the Perfect Way Christ would.

Unfortunately, after my natural response, I usually have to repent....

Encouraging people to live in sin is an abuse.

David's repentance was for more than murder...
Yah and the point is. David felt the need to repent from a walk of sin.

Hebrews 6:1New International Version (NIV)

6 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God,

2 Corinthians 7:8-10Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

8 For even if I grieved you with my letter, I do not regret it—even though I did regret it since I saw that the letter grieved you, yet only for a little while. 9 Now I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because your grief led to repentance. For you were grieved as God willed, so that you didn’t experience any loss from us. 10 For godly grief produces a repentance not to be regretted and leading to salvation, but worldly grief produces death.

Psalm 51
A Prayer for Restoration
For the choir director. A Davidic psalm, when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had gone to Bathsheba.

1 Be gracious to me, God,
according to Your faithful love;
according to Your abundant compassion,
blot out my rebellion.
2 Wash away my guilt
and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I am conscious of my rebellion,
and my sin is always before me.
4 Against You—You alone—I have sinned
and done this evil in Your sight.
So You are right when You pass sentence;
You are blameless when You judge.
Hebrews 10:26-31Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Deliberate sin is rebellion. Keep in mind deliberate sin is a continuous rebellion. Not just daily struggle with sin.

Warning against Deliberate Sin
26 For if we deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries. 28 If anyone disregards Moses’ law, he dies without mercy, based on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane[a] the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know the One who has said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay,[c] and again, The Lord will judge His people.[d] 31 It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

A repentant heart repents I mean can we honestly say that we don't feel sorry when we sin? Like there is no guilt or shame at all? I repent because I care about how father feels and also because I feel that guilt but I also repent because when you do something wrong you apologize for it that is just common manners. Not to say we need to constantly be saying sorry for every screw up we do but if one says we don't need to repent I would be questionable about them.

I don't think he was saying we can just live how we please and not need to repent I think he was saying repentance has nothing to do with salvation, but in salvation we come to know God in coming to know God we come to know his love and in coming to know his love we despise sin and in despising sin we ask for forgiveness when we sin.

The willful sin of unbelief in Christ's sacrifice on the cross and resurrection is the only real deal breaker with the Lord as Heb. 10:26 talks about. All sinning is deceitful and is destructive as it distorts our view of God, others and ourselves.

Preach and teach the love and grace of God in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and believers will have the nutrients to walk by the Spirit.

Repentance is more like a life change in the mind. We have it at the start but then after that it helps us acknowledge our sins

Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 3:8
And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”?—as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.

Lot of Romans 3:8 going on CC lately by those who haven't grasped the Grace of our beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ.

Repentance is necessary for salvation. Biblical repentance is changing your mind about Jesus Christ and turning to God by faith for salvation. It's not just changing your mind. That's an incomplete definition. Change your mind about what? What we're going to eat for supper tonight?

When we turn from sin it's a result of a genuine, faith-based repentance towards the Lord Christ Jesus. In Peter's first, Holy Spirit-filled teaching to the crowd at Pentecost, the people responded with a question. What must we do to be saved? Did Peter simply say, change your mind?

Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” Acts 2:38;39

Peter's second sermon. And now, brethren, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers did also. But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. Acts 3:17-21

Let's what the bible says about this
Luke 13:3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
Revelation 2:21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling
Romans 2:4 Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you to repentance?

No words to speak for me, I don't need to.
I Corinthians 15:3-5 The Gospel according to Scripture, Acts 3:19-21 Salvation beginning to end, Romans 2:3-5 Warning, Grace and Justice.

I had never noticed that about 2 and 3. Thanks for posting them so my eyes could be opened to that. Acts 3:19 reminds me of that song, "the cross before me, the world behind me" I've always thought that song was wrong, that is should be, "heaven before me, the Cross behind me". Since the Cross takes away our sins and we are heaven bound. The Cross is the negative side of our salvation and His resurrection is the positive side of our salvation, Romans 4:25.

Taking the book of John, divorcing it from the whole counsel of God, and, taking "believer" and divorcing it from the whole counsel of God is to arrive at the false gospel of FGT.

No repentance = no salvation.

That, and Bob Wilkins distorts repentance as do those of the WoF prosperity false gospel (as seen in this thread by one proponents errant definition)

In fact neither FGT/WoF of the prosperity false gospel preach repentance, they preach covetousness, selfishness, materialism. So, that being said, each of those false gospels, and the peddlers thereof are in the same sinking ship.
p4t - There is an unfortunate reality, it is easy to pick holes in other peoples positions,
because there are always strengths and weaknesses.

But so show you are not just an accuser of the brethren what is your position on walking
righteously and in the light, as Jesus did. How are we transformed into His likeness and
when?

This is as core to the message of any, because without the goal, everything else is
pointless.

I had a thought, there is a real truth in this statement as well.

We are free agents in this world, we are driven only by our own ideas and self perception.
We belong to different cultures so within the confinds of these limitations we walk.

Now in the world we are slaves to sin, and walk according to the lusts of the flesh.

If we come to Christ, our hearts are transformed and we are slaves to righteousness
and desire to do that which is right, because the law is written on hearts and in our
minds, and the love of Christ in us desires to be expressed.

So for those in Christ, we do what we want, and we go to heaven.

Condemnation is an attitude of the heart, and some see evil in everything.
But the Lord expresses His truth despite everything in us opposing it,
Praise the Lord.
