Well, we might go with humor too.

:Dutstanding!!!

I think it's a safe assumption that if we can't change the antagonistic atmosphere of this forum with the love & humility of Christ Jesus, we can hardly expect to make a change in the world. What say you, peeps?

They're not saying.

(can't get a peep out of 'em)

*I told the Lord I was lonely.....
asked Him if I could have just
one nice chick in my life.

He sent me 15.

Thank you, Lord.
Very funny.

jk.

I love you, Jesus.
Thank you for everyone here,
even trolls, sometimes.
They remind us of what life can be like
without you, Lord.....How blessed we are
that we have you, that you've saved us,
how you love us with an everlasting love.
Help us to remember from
how far we've fallen,
what you went through to redeem us.....
how blessed we are to have each other, too.

We know you're in control, Lord...
we pray for the trolls, and praise you, Jesus. \ :D /

Oh well, it gives opportunity to expose nonsense next to the truth of Scripture...even if the questions are pretentious.
Agreed, if they willfully choose to ignore strong answers straight from Scripture, then the discussion is pointless to even begin.

I was all spiritual and everything. LOL. I knew there was something, though I did not know what it was, and sought it out through spiritual exploration. Atheists largely do not even like the word spiritual. One atheist I spoke with called it a soggy cabbage of a word :)

Okay, now he crossed the line!
It's one thing to be anti-spiritual,
but what's he got against soggy cabbage?!
It's pretty much a tradition in my family.....:)

This is a super important thread. I honestly had no idea there were people discussing and planning their trolling on other sites, but I posted a comment recently saying that I felt that may be the case. The problem, in my mind, is that this is supposed to be a Christian Community of sorts, albeit online, however due the nature of online fellowship and communication, it makes prayer as a community much more difficult. And prayer is the weapon against these attacks, which, at the end of the day are spiritual.

This is my advice: If the mods of this site want it to continue and to flourish they need to have organised dedicated prayer both for the growth and protection of the site and its users. Otherwise I honestly don't see this place lasting for much longer.

To call yourself a Christian is to put a target on yourself as far as some atheists and maltheists are concerned. We are blamed for the history of the church as if we were personally responsible for every evil ever perpetrated upon the world. Jesus said we would be hated. Even that they will mock. Nothing is sacred to them but their perceived intelligence and the intelligence of those they lionize. That they hold sacred, always crowing about how much smarter than theists they are, how much more rational, how much more logical, more sane, not delusion with imaginary friends, how much better informed, more open minded, better educated, how brainwashed we all are, how incapable of thinking for ourselves, yadda yadda yadda. It became crystal clear that their problem really is pride. I think I understand the problem quite well also having been a non-believer for almost fifty years, myself.
My mother got save when she was 70 ! It is never to late. And she changed dramatically. I had long given up, thinking no one, or almost no body, is going to change at that age. God showed me. I like to think prayers had something to do with it. Well, we all know, they did.

I suppose there is no difference between believing matter is eternal (traditional atheism) and some kind of impersonal cosmic force being eternal (neo atheism). Don't worry, I'm ad libing this as I go. :p

My dad is next, I pray. A hard case. Hard line atheist. Last time I had my bible at his house, about 2 years ago, he said who has a bible in my house? Very prideful and stubborn, does depend on his intellect. But ya never know.

Hi, sealabug...
Don't get over-serious about it.
This ain't muslums committing horrible
filthy crimes.....there's real spiritual warfare
going on out there.....think of your blessings.

I don't mean to make light of false teaching,
and God bless us, there's many good folks here
standing up for the truth every day.....

I'm just trying to keep it in perspective.
God bless you though, sealabug, for your passion.
The Lord and His peeps got this covered.
Jesus loves you. Have a marshmallow. :D

(Nothing personal, mods, but...) If you think it's up to the mods to pray... ut-oh! That's not going to work. They're pretty busy trying to keep this site functional.

Lol answers from Scripture.

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know*them, because they are spiritually discerned.
