Here is an interesting video on the subject.

Before you offer videos as evidence to prove an argument perhaps it would be wise to first investigate the source of the material. Just from the picture, this looks to be the Ron Wyatt video. I do not believe I would place too much confidence in Ron Wyatt's claims. The man was nothing more than an amiture adventurer. He was certainly not an archaeologist. He was well known for jumping to unwarranted conclusions about his findings and offering speculations that he could not prove. None of his conclusions on the Red Sea crossing agree with the rout revealed in scripture.

before judging people watch the video, no one is 100 % accurate on everything, he makes a compelling case or I would not have shared it,

I have the video. I have seen it over and over and it simply will not stand the test of scripture.

Some people have suggested that it could indeed be the Red Sea, sighting that it's possible to have reeds growing in areas where the fresh water of tributaries enters the salt water of the Red Sea. I'm no botanist, so have no clue if papyrus reeds can grow in brackish water. The argument is that they were describing what they saw (i.e. reeds growing near the sea and called it the Reed Sea) rather than the actual place name of where they were (Red Sea). Sounds a bit sketchy to me - I think it's more an issue of how the words developed in English (reed vs. red) and were inadvertently mixed up somewhere along the line.

By the way, "red" in Hebrew is 'adom' (related to the name Adam), 'sûpf' is clearly 'reed', most likely a word borrowed from Egyptian.

If you think so. Of course, you could have shown how. And why even though all the things he showed makes it appear to be what he says it is, and what it could possibly be, Instead of just attacking.

But I guess that is just me.

When people just attack a person, then just make general remarks. I tend to not give that much ear..

(PS, I never said the guy was right, I said it was an interesting video, which has some interesting things which may be true, so take it however you want)

Yes the video is interesting, but not necessarily Gospel truth in every detail, as I see it. In my mind, one thing that makes the video more palatable in my view is that Israel crossed over to Jericho from the "east" side of Jordan. That puts them in the land of Arabia before entering into the promised land.

"Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, The Lord your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;Until the Lord have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the Lord your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the Lord's servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising." (Joshua 1:13-15)

Take note on the far side of the map above that Shittim was an ancient city east of the Jordan River in Moab,

"And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho. And those twelve stones, which they took out of Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal. And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones? Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land. (Joshua 4:19-22)
