we are still at 85% plus that was told they had it before finding Jesus .. still proving my thread
That's really jacked up logic. How does that prove demon possession exactly? You think every unsaved person is possessed? Proving that most Christians developed bipolar before becoming saved shows absolutely no proof of any kind of possession whatsoever. Where do you get that line of logic?

That's like saying 'Most Christians i know bought Totyota's before they were Christian, so Toyota's must be evil'.

Does anyone believe we are living in end times??? If so the devil is playing his best hand. He is deceiving, weighing down on, providing what I call EYE CANDY - That means anything that will get your attention off of him, He has millions of people telling you the world is millions of years old, that it is no such thing as a rapture, He is whispering in man’s ear until we removed GOD out of schools, government, because it's not politically correct, he is telling you through people that science proves there is no GOD, evolution over creationism, do what you want, you only have one life live it up, no such thing as sin,

And I believe the closer we get to the rapture the crazier you will see people get and we will see if they are Christian or Unbelievers.

What happens when the country implodes on itself, our money is worth nothing, and people can’t get those meds?

Who will they turn to? Will it be Jesus or the mark of the beast so they can buy their meds.

I remeber one particular woman. She was VERY sick and went to all the best clinics nd doctors. Her friends advized her too! Then one day she said... If only I can touch that Man called Jesus. Or even if I can only touch the hemn of His garment. So she crawled through people that stepped on her and kicked her for there were a great crowd around the Master of ALL. But she sailed like a possessed and then she saw the robe. She reached forward and touched the seam.... WHOLLA!!!! She was healed.

Wonder what would happen if a sick could tuch again the seam of Jesus today? Man if only I was an elder that had faith! Or if we sould even get Paul's robe, that robe healed many sick, wonder where it is today? Would Jesus still heal people today? Or is the healing time gone? Seems like there is just about a powder or chemical for anything. Is there a pill for FAITH?

Would there be pills if all the elders were FAITHFUL? Would there be doctors if we all wee little Jesus'? Ah where is the ...LAy on hands and they were healed.
why aren't you out healing people and raising the dead?
not enough "faith"?

I tell you what if it doesn't happen you will be begging Jesus for it
i'll be begging Jesus for a pretribulation rapture?
why would i do that - i know it is not written, that it is a doctrine of devils.

are you afraid of suffering?
apparently.

There is evidence that BPD is associated with, if not caused by, differences in melatonin synthesis and cells in the hippocampus. It's one of the reasons lithium, which is relatively cheap, seems to work so well - it protects those cells from degenerating as they normally do in people with bipolar. We can watch this part of the brain fall apart and then start to repair itself once treatment begins.

If it's demons, demons fear a relatively simple earth metal.

I'm Christian and struggle with rapid cycling bipolar disorder. It is awful, but at no point have I ever sensed anything like a demon, and learning to deal with it successfully has not involved any exorcisms. I don't know how else to put it - learning about and dealing with the disease is like learning about and dealing with, say, diabetes. Lifestyle changes, dietary and chemical help, friends, family, trained counselors...

And yes, prayer. I have avoided many a problem by essentially locking myself in a room and praying until the wave passes. But it hasn't felt like a demon - just the same sort of moods we all experience, but more like a tsunami than ripple.

I do. Lithium has changed my life.

It used to be that there were days when I couldn't even move. The pain in my chest was like a hot, heavy iron ball. And the up days - I could stay up for a week at a time and not yawn once.

That all went away. The disorder is still there - I can still sense the wave, but I know how to ride them without hurting anybody.

Why do you believe Jesus wants you to suffer??
what childish nonsense.
we age, get sick and then we die.
the death rate is 100% for all christians throughout time.
not to mention tribulation and persecution.

but you want to avoid all that and are willing to believe a doctrine of devils.
goodbye.

Have you ever looked into the traits characteristics of Demonic Oppression or possession?

Those you mentioned are called life. We are now talking the 7 years of tribulation. This is going to be the worst time ever on earth.

Jesus says pray always you are worthy to escape the things coming to earth.

what was he talking about? Escape What?? What would be coming to earth for us to escape? I say the TRIBULATION

Yes, I have. I am not obsessed, oppressed, or possessed. I have a difficult emotional life, harder than most, easier than some. It just so happens that mine has a regular pattern and can be seen on brain scans and can be positively affected by ingesting a simple metal.

well you said you couldn't sleep then you said you could sleep for weeks at a time.
This is one of the traits

Sleep Disturbances: Some possession cases have reported that the victim requires very little sleep or that he or she sleeps excessively for hours or even days
Again I'm not trying to be hateful just looking at all possibilities.

Also where you diagnosed before or after coming a Christian?

Also do you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you believe he is GOD in the Flesh? Do you believe he is the only way? Do you repent? Do you believe he beat death and sitting to the right hand of the father?

I am a Christian and am I bipolar. I don't need to get reconfirmation of either of these facts. I know my God and I know my disease.

I didn't stick my neck out because I needed more opinions. I did so because we are not, largely, demon possessed and this needs to be known.

So you want to voice your opinion and not have it challenged ?? Well when you calm down and feel like talking about it please answer the questions. Thanks

sudden changes to vocabulary such as becoming abnormally profane or abusive
sudden urges to hurt people and animals for no reason

I think oppression can contribute to a variety of disorders. I am a firm believer that 90% of mental disorders can be overcome naturally and through prayer without the use of anti-psychotics and other medications. I've known several bi-polar people. One was a christian, but was the surface type that just seemed to go through the motions. Like she had been indoctrinated into it and never left her own choice about it. Another guy I knew who had it really bad. I tried talking to him about Jesus, but he didn't really respond to it. He would just change the subject. He was molested for years by his step mom as a kid though, so this may have adversely affected his potential faith in anything divine.
I think signs of oppression are especially evident in people who fall into major depression for prolonged periods of time, especially those who don't have due cause to do so. I think it can also be the direct cause of most, if not all, anxiety disorders. I came up with a theory once, that angels and demons were capable of influencing emotional states, just by their presence alone. If they are in charge of principalities and powers and so forth, then why couldn't lessor demons be in charge of certain emotions, and while in the presence of said demon, it would adversely affect it's host. Scientist would argue that chemical imbalance would disprove the demonic influence theory, but that's not entirely true.
From the little bit that I have studied, it's evident that extreme emotional states can have adverse long term affects on chemical imbalance, even if there was no imbalance prior to that state. Take me for example. I have a major anxiety disorder, and sometimes when I am stressed really bad, I have strings of panic attacks. During a panic attack your blood is overloaded with adrenaline which in turn causes a release of chemicals like dopamine in your brain. If drugs like meth that have this same affect can damage these receptors, then why couldn't one too many panic attacks also do the same thing, resulting in a chemical imbalance?
This imbalance could also lead to other disorders such as depression and bi-polar disorder. This is all just speculation on my part. I'm not a scientist and have only studied the affects of these disorders on personality so I don't know that much about how chemicals are effected. But what I do know is that after being in a bad car accident, I developed an acute case of PTSD some months afterwards and was hospitalized because I was hallucinating and my blood pressure wouldn't come down at all. It took five days to get it back to normal, from just one episode of PTSD, which is really just a severe panic attack that lasts a long time. So that just proves that it's true that traumatic or extremely emotional events can cause permanent damage.
