Can anybody recommend any books (besides the Bible, of course) that do a good job arguing the young earth creationism viewpoint?
I would check out the book sections on AiG's and CMI's websites.

Creation Ministries (USA)

Henry Morris is the greatest creationist who ever lived, but creation science is much like secular science, in that theories are improved and updated. These organizations carry the most up to date material.

That said, The Lie, by Ken Ham is must reading. Also, Six Days: The Age of the Earth and the Decline of the Church, by Ham.
