Here are some brief Bible studies on texts I find interesting. As long as one does not go into private and false interpretation of the Scriptures, it is good to study the various texts of the Bible. Anything one reads in the Bible is the word of God and can teach you (and me) something.

Psalm 104:24-25 EV "O LORD, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Here is the sea great and wide, which teems with creatures innumerable, living things both small and great."

God has made all of the animals of the earth; from little foxes and great whales, from kangaroos and walruses, to the precious pets, cats and dogs, people cherish so much. Every animal and creature that God has made is good. Before the fall, every creature blessed man and did not harm man in any way; man's sin affected all of creation, and poisoned the animals which God has made, so they no longer bless man the way originally intended. Some of the animals are dangerous to man.

Isaiah 8:16 KJV "Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples."

Isaiah 8:20 KJV "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

Isaiah 53:11 NIV "After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities."

Masoretic Text does not have "the light of life".

The Masoretic Text has no light (cf. Isaiah 8:20 KJV). There is no light in the Jewish Rabbinic corruption of the Septuagint and the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible, which have the original Biblical word "light", as correctly translated in the NIV Bible, but omitted from the KJV, which follows the Hebrew Masoretic Text, instead of the Greek Septuagint and Dead Sea Scrolls texts that the NIV bases its translation of Isaiah 53:11 upon.

Correction. It should be ESV, not EV.
