There is no reason for God to torture people without any end in sight. Try on some logic. Had He a reason, He would, but there is none. The scriptures that speak of annihilation out weigh those few that at first glance seem to point to eternal torture. Scripture must interpret scripture.
So if ten verses says that water is wet and one verse says it is dry, it behooves us to go with the ten. The one verse must be allegorical or a parable of sorts and cannot be made a foundational stone of doctrine.
The pagans of the Babylonian mysteries believed the eternal torture deal in order to control their constituents.
When many of the Greeks found salvation, some maintained the evil doctrine of torturing God.

do you really take this guy serious...the first thing that pop out of his mouth...bone cancer in children...what is he talking about??? children???? he is gay ....can he and his man multiply??? how can gay people even even think about children it is hypocrisy ....it is not like you lost the ability to have children but you give up the natural right now you want to accuse the creator for sickness in them...the host's response should have been ...speaking of children, when do you guys plan on having having your first ???

Whats new ..they said all manner of things and did them to Jesus Christ (shows how lovable we are), he has given us a free will to choose good or bad ( really hard )..God IS capable of answering for himself ..
