Because God hasn't limited Himself in this I think that there could still be prophets,a problem with prophets is that a prophet would have too much power and people would tend to rely on them rather than on God. The new testament Christian has the Holy Spirit dwelling in every believer and can should ALL be able to hear from God with no need of fake or real prophets to tell them what is what. The ones that would think they need it more are more vulnerable to be picked off by the fake prophets.

And Zone is who she is and she is consistent. I think she is a Christian. Sneaky people who are out to win a popularity contest are the ones to really watch out for. And just because someone looks Christian doesn't mean that they are, Zone tends to expose that kind of stuff and I appreciate it.

What's the problem with Christians or Christianity in politics? I read the definition of Dominionism on the net and I don't see where the problem is. Christians in politics hoping for politics to be Christian. What are we against Christians politics for? I vote for Christian values, so I don't see the problem with wanting more Christian politics.

no but reading and speaking to a wide range of people and the individuals themselves would be consider research, but if you are the result of the movement and your anger and hostility its fruit then no more needs to be said.

Please go talk to someone else now.
I am not a part of any movement, that is a discrediting tactic you learned from Zone.

Dominianism is a post millennial belief that Jesus is not going to return until after the Church has conquered the world. Lue Engel, Mike Bickle or IHOP do not believe this. That they do is a lie from Zone and others.

Wikipedia calls what you talking about "Hard" Dominionism. It's not the complete defintion of Dominionism. You could believe "soft" dominionism. You should check it out. The main idea is really Christian politics. Not much is mentioned about the return of the Lord.

why would I seek to discredit you? why do you seek credit at all and not the glory of God? why do you seek honor from men and not God?

instead of discussing anything rationally and calming you start yelling and calling people names. I do not wish to speak with you because you make me angry and being angry upsets me because I do not like it. then that makes me sad.

so please run along and speak with someone else. I prefer not to be told I'm the daughter of someone who you consider is Satan (no offense Zone) but I've had enough slander and lies for today.

its not like I made up the article or the fact the guy spoke against homosexual at a time when they were voting on a bill that wanted to KILL them. its in the NEWS.

i'll look up CNN and other papers... it should be easy enough to check..

Who ever heard of a bill to kill homosexuals. That sounds so fake to me. The government probably didn't even have that bill for that guy to vote on.

Jonathon sometimes I love you innocence about the evils of the world, but seriously?

it was on the news. he didn't vote on it, it happened in a country called Uganda. you might want to click on the link and watch the video or read the articles. and the commentary video afterwards too.

<nope no steering wheels nearby, good thing too>

note: i'm researching the man called Lou Engle and that does not reflect on any one who claims to be his disciple or staunchly worships everything he does. so go argue somewhere else.

You seeking to discredit someone through assocciation, and false accusation, and that person seeking credit are two very different things.

More false accusation I see.

Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. The prayer movement bares good fruit.
Never one time did the Lord call any of His disciples to consecrate themselves with any vows and that included the Nazarite vow as well. He did however call them to take up their cross and follow Him. He commissioned them to take the gospel and preach it in all the world but He never instructed them or even brought up to them the subject of consecration.

We are believer-priests and we have been sanctified by the Lord and set apart unto Him, that is every believer. We have been crucified with Christ, buried with Him and raised with Him and that far exceeds any Nazarite vow of the flesh. Jesus Christ has consecrated for us, through His blood, a new and living way to enter into the holiest through the veil of His flesh (Heb 10:19,20). You can have consecration, I'll take the cross and Christ crucified. You want to restrict your flesh and bind yourself up with asceticism, go right ahead, I'll stand fast in the liberty wherein Christ had made me free and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Gal 5:1).

Consecration will do absolutely nothing for the believer that Christ has not already done for us, to be received by faith and to walk in by faith. The mission that we have been called to do is by grace and not by consecration. We freely receive and freely give (Mt 10:8, Rom 8:32). We need to get out of the OT mindset with our missions and be a church that has been redeemed by the blood of Christ and go win the lost. It's okay to pray for revival in America but the church is the one that has been revived through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. To take the Nazarite vow is absolutely contrary to the gospel of grace that has been delivered unto us ans should never be practiced.

#1 Paul took a Nazarite vow.
#2 God call us all to consecrate ourselves to Him. we are to be holy, and separate from the world.

You are using Paul occasion to justify what, that we are to consecrate ourselves throuh a vow? God as set us apart and we are to be sanctified continually by the washing of the word. That has nothing to do with consecration or a Nazarite vow. You are grasping at straws to justify this man's son who took this Nazarite vow.

mmm New York times???

youtube video of Lou Engle talking to Uganda with a uganda translator without commentary.

hmmmmm I wonder if people read all of my post are just choose their "sacred word" and meditate upon the meaning instead? isn't that what that prayer thingie likes to teach?

No Zone, no CNN quote wonder what's going on?

maybe if someone actually knows how to look beyond and RESEARCH a topic instead of blinding defending their PRIDE?

the rudeness is the request to converse with someone else 4runner there are thousands of threads and many who come to this one read the others too so you don't lose any of your much needed attention, it just would be respectful, but I guess that is asking too much.

I thought we were suppose to follow JESUS not Paul. Did Jesus take a Nazarite vow? mmm aren't Nazarite not suppose to drink wine?

"This vow required the man or woman to observe the following:
Abstain from wine, wine vinegar, grapes, raisins;
Refrain from cutting the hair on one's head;
Avoid corpses and graves, even those of family members, and any structure which contains such.
It is also forbidden for the nazirite to have grape or grape derivatives, even if they are not alcoholic. According to Rabbinical interpretation, there is no prohibition for the nazirite to drink alcoholic beverages not derived from grapes.[14] According to non-Rabbinical interpretation, a Nazirite is forbidden to consume any alcohol, and vinegar from such alcohol, regardless of its source.[2] The laws of wine or grapes mixing in other food is similar to other dietary laws that apply to all Jews.[15]
A nazirite can groom his hair with his hand or scratch his head and needn’t be concerned if some hair falls out. However a nazirite cannot comb his hair since it is a near certainty to pull out some hair. A nazirite is not allowed to use a chemical depilatory that will remove hair.[16] A nazirite that recovers from Tzaraath, a skin disease described in Leviticus 14, is obligated to cut his hair despite being a nazirite.
The nazirite (except for a Samson-like nazirite as stated above) may not become ritually impure by proximity to a dead body. Causes include being under the same roof as a corpse. However a nazirite can contract other kinds of ritual impurity. A nazirite that finds an unburied corpse is obligated to bury it, even though he will become defiled in the process.[17]"

Nazirite - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It must come with the doctrine of salvation through works/perfection instead of Grace. makes one not only justify themselves but their mistaken discernment/endorsement of others instead of just saying I made a mistake or I don't know God has not revealed that to me yet.
