Do a little research, it isn't difficult to find online. Freemasonry is evil and most who are in it are themselves deceived - it has Satanic roots and unless you get to the top of it you do not discover what it's all about. The evil side of Freemasonry is hidden under a cloak of charity work and fundraising. There is a reason you have to believe in a god - any god to belong to it. I guess that is because if you don't believe in a god you don't believe in the other side either. It is indeed an occult, a sect and satanic worship. No Christian should go there.

[h=1]1 Peter 5:8 (NIV)[/h]8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Some say Freemasons are planning to take over the world, while others say they are just a benevolent fraternal society.
What's the truth about Freemasonry? Can a Christian be a Freemason?
they have a long History Jesus is not the core of their order. The things one has to do to become one well lets just say I ok with not being one :) they do not recruit.

A Christian should not be a Freemason, for although they believe in a higher power, they accept all religions, even if that higher power is not God of the Bible.

Now if they say it is only for fellowship between religions, and not a religion itself, would be one thing, but to put across as everybody's higher power, and religion,is the same as the next, would be going against the religion of Christianity.

Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma is an interesting look into upper echelon masonry too if I might add. It gets quite esoteric and occult. Since you have been through the whole process, I have a question about one of the legends as it is taught in the lodge. During the Hiram Abiff story, when his ancestor appears in the fire and tells him to cast himself in......is it CAIN or Tubal-Cain that actually appears? I have read both versions of the story but have always been curious which figure it actually is when taught in the lodge.
I honestly do not remember. And, I do not want to remember. When I left masonry long ago, I wanted to have nothing more to do with it. I got rid of all masonic 'insignia' that I owned. I prayed that God would help me to forget... ( and to a great degree, He has! { "Thank You Lord!" } )

:)

This topic leads to the main reason I joined this site, to TRY and inform.

I will try a different approach and completely Skip the beginning and just cut it all down to basically a statement because there is a VERY HUGE background of this question.

Freemasonry is a branch of evil that, sprouts off other branches of evil, in the beginning it is an introductory, or welcoming, and welcoming of conditioning.

There 33 degrees of masonry, "skipping a lot of detail but", once you are a 32 degree mason you can enter into the Shrine, "become a Shriner".

Now what is a Shriner? A Shriner is what is to become of the beginning of Freemasonry.

Read this.

Is it a secret society is the pivotal question. What does the Word say about such secretive clubs?

Don't take it lightly. A "master" mason is the third degree in a system of 32 degrees, the 33rd being honorary. Jesus was "30" when he began his ministry and "33" when he laid his life down for the teaching of the tree of life. This tree of life has 22 paths just as there are 22 Hebrew letters. There are then ten emanations or manifestations of god or godliness along those paths. 22+10=32. These teachings quickly become entwined with kabbalah. The essence if scripture is in overcoming kabbalah and establishing the tree of life.

in re: tubal Cain, the descendent of Cain - this is taught: (scroll down)
story_of_hiram_abiff

These teachings are deep and deceptive. Students trained in law, history, linguistics, anthropology, literature and the remaining hermeneutics model might understand it - then again - they might not. Suffice to say Jesus is the only potentate!

:hrmm: those freemason were one of those occults who change and gives a name unto some characters in bible like the name of
the father almighty like giving different meaning unto it
such as the word YHWH they give meaning unto this word
creating a name which not directly written as it is written
and
putting a certain date unto some events in the bible like in pertaining it unto those calendar
where in the original scriptures theres no actual given date
and name which creates confusion unto the believers
so that the true word of god may not be preach unto the world
thats all we know

~;> thats why we must be very careful on examining
every given scriptures
as they say
as it is written
:read:
Pahayag: 22. 18. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book:

:ty:

godbless us all always

Yeah why not...?

I will tell you why not.

"Freemasonry is a brotherhood for men only, excluding women, which creates separate camps - men/women. There are also exclusive women‟s groups of Freemasons namely Easter Star, Job‟s Daughters, etc.

Added to this foundation, in the top degrees of Freemasonry are the Knights Templars who move into high degrees of Satanism – specifically the 28[SUP]th[/SUP] Degree.

They believe that to have sex with a woman is degrading and will make them effeminate. Studying the top structures of the Nazi parties, we learn that many of them were homosexuals. The book called
The Pink Swastika3 opens up a lot of truth as to what was going on in the top ranks of Hitler‟s leadership.

The same Nazi spirit was brought into South Africa as the “Superior Race” which formed the foundation of Apartheid.

Today they have approved Homosexuality in the traditional Dutch Reform Church, who years ago justified apartheid from the Word of God!

The Knights Templar dress in medieval costumes and worship a mysterious idol called Baphomet. This idol is half beast and half man. The Templars who worship this idol, practise black magic, homosexuality and obscene kissing."

You can make up your own mind if this is from God... or not

It is my Christian duty to bring truth out in the open and save our people, as many as I can, if you really do worship the one true God our creator you will join in on spreading the truth and exposing the lies to all that you come in contact with and help save our people from being mislead into darkness MASONRY PROVEN CONCLUSIVELY TO BE WORSHIP OF LUCIFER, SATAN! Part 1 of 2 just be careful because it is a dangerous topic but have faith in The Lord our God and he will shield you and bless you of your good deeds.

A Christian can be a Catholic.Protestant, or Baptist. (Still don't get why Baptists don't think they ever protested, but that doesn't mean they can't be Christians anyway. lol)
A Christian can be a President or Prime Minister of a country or homeless.
A Christian can be a doctor or a janitor.
A Christian can listen to Rock, Rap, or Japanese Opera.
A Christian can join a Temple or an Ashram.
A Christian can eat pork, eel, or fishhead stew.
A Christian can be a soldier or a pacifist.
A Christian can do whatever God has him/her to do just as long as he/she walks in eyes-wide-open to the environment he/she is entering and understand God placed him/her there for his divine reasons.

What's the truth about Freemasonry? IDK. I figure I'll have to learn if God ever tells me to join it.
If a true believer continues in the unbiblical mass, prays to the goddess Mary/Semiramus, uses prayer beads, prays to saints, believes in purgatory, worships the pope as god on earth,........well...he aint no true christian. Wake me up when you get there.

My wife and I are friends with a lady who's dad was a freemason. When he turned to Christianity he basically "resigned" from the freemasons. They told him that he can't resign and that if he did there would be consequences. After he did not attend their meetings they cursed his life and within months he was diagnosed with a severe and aggressive form of cancer and he died a couple of months later.

The masons sound like real nice people...

:haha: look for those people
who speaks more about satan as being bound in the cross
thats their evil hidden will to put you on a mind set like
such as satan becomes one with jesus in the cross

... . while the scripture is very specific
about how jesus took away our sins by means of the cross
literally and spiritually

 those are the creatures who knows more about their own kind
for they always run like bad horses este what we meant is bad spirits

.. . . but still coming back
unto its host unless the host is field with spiritual goodness that comes from what is good and cannot lie
those people could not manipulate you and everyone

I once read somewhere that they have a rebirth ceremony, which requires laying in a coffin, and once exiting the coffin the person then says they've been "born again" - really worrying that non believers might confuse christianity with freemasonry.

The devil likes to deceive.
