because im wondering, like everyone else on here, the basis of your faith.
And you're not exactly being too open about it either.
You seem rather vague.
I can see why something happened to you, this is quite rude

You concede that the human body is designed with involuntary 'actions' (do you mean functions?). The responses of the body (variously manifesting as stress, anger, lust etc.) are determined by hormones. If your cortisol is high, for example, you will feel anxious. Are you arguing you have control of your own hormonal system?
This is true

but we decide what to wear in the morning, what college we want to go to. what we want to eat, drink, when we want to go to bed. What we want to watch on tv, what movie we want to see or what game we may want to watch. We even chose what religion we wish to follow,

when it comes to God, God convicts us of sin, then convinces us of the truth of Gods solution for sin, and his offere of salvation, we chose to continue in unbelief and remain lost, or as the tax collector to fall based on our newfound understanding of our eternal situation and hopelessness and call out to God. Because God has convinced us of his truth.

If we must 'fight against the flesh' then we do not have free will.
Why not

if we are fighting, are we not chosing to resist?

we can just chose to let the flesh run rampant and stop fighting

Okay. If you concede that some of our actions are involuntary we do not have free will.
So we are free to shoes for some, and some reactions outside our will

and you claim it proves no free will? This does not make sense

Our “will” is found in our soul.

The body can influence a choice, our feelings/emotions can influence a choice, our minds can influence a choice, and our innermost being which is our spirit can influence a choice, but it is our “will” in our soul that must choose - it has free will.
Amen, like Gods love influences our minds, and the more we feel his love the more we live his love and love others,

while it may be based on another, it is still a free will chose, we live and act out of gratitude

I understand that most believe that hell is final and once we die, it's over but...... why would the Father give Jesus Christ the keys to Hell/Hades?

Only Jesus Christ can come and go freely in and out of Hell/Hades......why would He?

Perhaps there are lost souls that can still be saved even from the depths of Hell/Hades...... God's ways are higher than ours.....and His love is so much greater! It would not surprise me in the slightest if Jesus Christ is pulling repentant souls out of the depths of Hell/Hades.

No one has the keys to Hell/Hades except Jesus Christ and He is the ONLY Savior, no one comes to the Father but through Jesus Christ.
This makes no sense really sis, and in essence takes Away from all of those who sacrificed on earth, why sacrifice if I can just make it to hades and I can get an out

and if we think about it, who in hades is going to resist Jesus? No one, they will then know all they were told about sin and judgment is true.

jesus was given the key because he will be opening the gate to escort prisoners in, and then locking them in on his way out

So you are asking me if people in a vegetative state can dream? I am not qualified to answer that one, dear.
Actually they can perceive, people have been sued because hey did things to a person in that state, they person could hear and feel and sometimes even see everything they did

And? That does not mean they were immortal before that. They were both of the natural world.

The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 1 Cor 15:46

They did not eat of the Tree of Life.
Interesting, although there state they never would have suffered sickness, and their living bodies would have continued because sickness and death were the result of sin,

I'm afraid the death in that verse is a spiritual death not a physical death. Adam and Eve died the day they sinned but it was spiritual. The first death is a natural death because we are made as mortals. It is a spiritual death that sin brings. That's why the bible sometimes speaks of living people as dead because they don't have the kind of life salvation brings.
That is True, but physical death was also a result of a fallen world

do you believe that people go to heaven or hell right after they die

or do you believe that everyone will be judged at some future time and then either rewarded or punished after that judgement ???
Hades and paradise

and they will attend different judgements

Hi Vicky, I just want to throw this in there.
you are right about free will. Sin can enslave us to the point of no freedom like the other animals. In as much as we are not free determines culpability. How that lack of freedom is because of a fault of ours matters too. Adam and Eve were perfectly free.

They were created perfect
Agree. The ability to make choices is a good thing...

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Yes, good/very good, not perfect. If they were truly perfect, they would not have sinned!

Jesus was purposed from before the foundation of the world to be the propitiation for sin. We can confidently assume God knew which choice Adam and Eve were going to make. They were, after all, part of the natural world; they had not eaten of the Tree of Life.

Maybe they were perfectly self determined creatures. Sinning demonstrated that perfection.

How could Christ be called perfect if sinning defines perfection? You make little sense.

The same with your insistence that A&E's actions were all involuntary pre-fall.

You remove Adam's culpability, whereas God held Adam responsible.

Your views do not gel with God's.

You assume you understand. So, all your objections are based on a false premise.
Christ demonstrated perfect self determination in the Garden of Gethsemane in agony praying for the cup He was to drink be passed. Self determined creatures determine for them selves for the bad or the good. What is good or bad isn't subject to that determination.

There were no involuntary movements before.the fall. The opposite of what you think I wrote.

That indicates some obstruction is preventing you from giving me a fair hearing..
