Ezr 6:14And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.Ezr 6:15And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.Ezr 6:16And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy,Ezr 6:17And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

Joh 4:9Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.Joh 4:10Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.Joh 4:11The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?Joh 4:12Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
he never denied being a jew as well as he never denied being the King of the Jews.

Mt 2:2Saying, Where is he that is born KING OF THE JEWS? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.Mt 27:11And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the KING OF THE JEWS? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
cup of ruin I have already shown from scriptures that your doctrine about jews being seperate from israelites and meet your challenege on showing from scriptures where the jews are the nation israel, how ever you have choosen to twist the Word of God to make it say what you want it to say. do we have to go down this road again???
As I said before it's a false charge, unless you find the Lord guilty as charged, You clearly have not understood the meaning of the word Ioudaios or Yehuwdiy ... As you can read when the House of Judah was taken to Babylon the "Jews" stayed behind in Judea, why? because they sare subjects of the land not the House of Judah, the truth of scripture has no regard for modern indoctrination techniques.

Dear Me, the letter is written in Chaldee, that's why the word is Yehuwdiy are you suggesting that the Isarelites spoke Babylonian Chaldee? Who sent the letter and made the decree? Have a think about it instead of robotically repeating common mantra that you have been programmed with.

Just because you increase the size of the font does not make it true.

Thankyou all for your answers. I wondered about this and did get a sence of what you all have said. It was supprising to me still when I read it. I have been amazed at how much more I can focus on in the word by reading it aloud. The message I took from this is what I have felt in prayer with Jesus every so often. I hear him placing me low and sometimes I feel put off. But as soon as I still hold forth in faith, I then see the gift he has given me. We can all learn that what may not seem very pleasing can sometimes be a good gift. Cup, I look forward to what Jesus has for you. Smiles, Thankyou again and God bless, pickles

Maybe his comments were also for the sake of his disciples. Maybe he was being sarcastic to get the point across to them that even someone such as her can have faith as great as theirs.
