Can young children be demon possessed?

Okay I know this is probably one of my weirdest questions, but I can't get it out of my head. Lately I've been thinking alot about when I was little. The more I read online about this demon stuff, the more I start putting things together from when I was younger and wondering if I was possessed. Idk I'm really confused.

Yes, Jesus healed a boy who was posessed with demons that made him have seizures and stuff. I don't know the scripture off hand, but its a well-known bible story.

Else why would the Bible warn believers to "resist the Devil" (James 4:7) and "neither give place to the Devil" (Eph. 4:27)? However, few will allow Satan's power to go so far as a devil actually indwelling or possessing a believer. Granted, the thought of a foreign spirit controlling a Christian's body and mind for destruction and evil is one of the most harrowing thoughts one could imagine and no sensible believer would want such a thing to occur, but what are the facts? Is it possible? To find the truth we must ignore all emotional appeals and simply examine the biblical facts.

It helps to understand what demons are and how this takes place in a person's life. If you examine the way the bible reveals understanding about demons, take note of general ages and what took place. Jesus gives solid evidence concerning a man who at one time did not consider the word of God as food for his own soul, but continually mourned over the dead. This is mentioned two ways in Old Testament law, and Jesus shows us how that law works. It helps to understand a little bit about creation language to see this on a personal plane.

To hear someone say, 'no' is one thing. But to understand on a person level is far better.

Being possessed is not a sin since its not something the person can control. I don't think the sins that they commit while possessed are counted against them either because they have no control over actions. The evil spirit in them is the one doing the evil things.

No a child will not go to hell, you can only go to hell if you choose to sin or let sin be in you. Children are the responsibility of the parents and can only be possessed if the parents live in sin or curse. Children are not independent but are under the parents.
