I studied early church history in depth. The Roman Catholic church as it is today did not exist until 8th century AD. A genuine church history is a means of ensuring that you know the truth about the RC church and will therefore avoid it.

They all wrote long before there was a Roman Catholic church. But their reliability is doubtful. They were no more reliable interpreters of Scripture than many of us are.

You cannot claim to be a follower of God when you put the teachings of the Catholic Church above the Authority of God.

Why do you put God so low in your life?

God is the supreme authority we are to follow! Only God has the Truth!

By putting the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church above God proves you really do not believe God is Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent.

To you God is powerless because you refuse to accept only the Scriptures from God have more Authority than the Catholic Church.

Basically you have put God at the bottom of your list. This is why you refuse to use the Scriptures only as your source of Truth. This is why you include the false teachings of evil men in your Doctrines.

So are you saying mwc68 that the Catholic Church does NOT teach Mary had to be without sin? If you are then it was God who keep Jesus without sin and not Mary!

If Mary did NOT need to be without sin then this says Mary was only a sinner. So why do the Catholics pray the Hail Mary to Mary is she was a sinner?
