We do have it figured out because God has told us the Truth in the Scriptures.

Matthew 4:10
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.' "

Jesus Christ clearly told Satan we are to Worship God only. Jesus Christ clearly told Satan we are to serve God only.

I understand its the Roman Catholic Church that teaches you can Worship and serve Mary also. But you have to understand God does not Judge us by what the Roman Catholic Church teaches. God judges us by what He says in His Scriptures.

Matthew 15:9
[SUP]9 [/SUP] And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "

God does know the Roman Catholic Church teaches their commandments as Doctrines from God. What is interesting is God says in VAIN they Worship Him. If you are teaching the commandment of the Roman Catholic Church that you can ask Mary for anything and pass it off as a Doctrine from God, then you are wasting you time in praying to God because its in vain and God will not listen to you.

So yes you can ask Mary all you want, but God then will refuse to hear anything you have asked of Him. In vain you pray to God because He will not listen to you as long as you are asking Mary. God clearly says you worship Him in vain as long as you are teaching the Doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church that says you can ask Mary for anything.

You obviously haven't figured it all out because you hate your brothers and sisters in Christ. Where is that written in your God the bible?

geesh, this thread is still stuck on praying to Mary is futile and a sin? Not much has changed since I last visited this thread..lol..

Jesus Christ- our intercessor

Virgin Mary- NOT our intercessor

Jesus hears our prayers. HE alone intercedes for us. MARY DOES NOT INTERCEDE FOR US NOR DOES SHE HEAR OR ANSWER PRAYERS. To pray to Mary is a sin, because Mary is not God or Jesus and she does not, cannot, and will not intercede for you or hear your prayers.

When are you gonna finally get that?!! Those who pray to Mary, worship Mary and that is idolatry. Idolatry is a sin..

You're welcome. My two cents are valuable..lol.. :)

No one is hating on you. We are just trying to get you to realize that Mary is not to be worshiped. Not to be prayed to. She does not intercede to God for you. JESUS does. Mary does not hear your prayers to her, nor can she answer them, even if she wanted to.

It just baffles me why you have such a hard time understanding these FACTS.

okay, then please tell me why you don't think those are facts.
I believe the dead do hear us and pray for us. I think that is in Revelation. I don't quote anymore scripture because yall have a field day with it then say I'm going to hell

The dead are exactly that. DEAD. Dead people cannot hear and cannot pray. As for that being in Revelation, I highly doubt it but do you have a book, chapter and verse I could look at?

Physical body yes, but I believe their spirits are alive, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Father.

Consider Lazarus and the rich man after they died.
This was a parable by the Lord to give understanding to the difference of obedience and disobedience in accordance with salvation. The rich man was greedy and disobedient to the laws of Moses and was sent to hell, as for the Lazarus even though he was poor and homeless still had faith in God.

The concept of this teaching was to show we are to obey His teachings and commands while in the flesh, because when we die if you were disobedient it is then to late to be saved.

Come on, sir!

I want to be "deaf" there, if things are like that.

I´m glad that -here- I have heard a LIMITED number of PPL but, next life, I want to listen to the music I liked, to the birds I have at home and to the friends I have enjoyed (no one else)

PS

By the way!

That "teaching" IS on those book protestantism has removed from the books they kept as inspired.

If I check, I can find where they are...

Mary was blessed above all women... she gave birth to our Savior on earth after all, however she needed to come to Him for salvation as all must, there is only one way and there are NO exceptions, she was blessed but she was a women none the less and should not be prayed to, why should we go to the dead when we have a risen and living Savor we can go to????
Acts 4:12

Act 4:12 Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only one in all the world that can save anyone.

For those who believe a "different" way (not mine):

Deu_18:11 nor one who uses spells, nor one who consults demonic spirits, nor a diviner, nor one who seeks the truth from the dead.

Psa_88:5 87:6 idle among the dead. I am like the wounded sleeping in sepulchers, whom you no longer remember, and who have been repelled by your hand.

Ecc_9:5 For the living know that they themselves will die, yet truly the dead know nothing anymore, nor do they have any recompense. For the memory of them is forgotten.

Isa_8:19 And though they say to you, "Seek from seers and diviners," they who hiss in their incantations, should not the people seek from their God, for the sake of the living, and not from the dead?

Wis_13:10 Yet they are unhappy, and their hope is among the dead, for they have called "gods" the works of the hands of men, gold and silver, the inventions of skill, and the likeness of animals, or a useless stone, the work of an ancient hand.

Sir_22:10 Weep over the dead, for his light has failed. And weep over the foolish, for his understanding has failed.

Sir_22:13 The mourning for the dead is seven days; but for the foolish and the impious, it is all the days of their life.

Bar_6:31 But they roar, shouting out to their gods, just as at a feast for the dead.

2Ma_12:43 And, calling an assembly, he sent twelve thousand drachmas of silver to Jerusalem, to be offered for a sacrifice for the sins of the dead, thinking well and religiously about the resurrection,

2Ma_12:44 (for if he had not hoped that those who had fallen would be resurrected, it would have seemed superfluous and vain to pray for the dead,)

I do!

And, if you below, you will see SOME REASONS why they needed to be removed (the RCC´s teachings behind?)

PS

As for me, I considered Paul´s narcissitic teaching Catholics, too (a 2nd class of "inspired" letters)
