For we are the Circumcision, which Worship God in the Spirit, and Rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have No Confidence in the Flesh. Philippians 3 that Cirumcision is in the 'heart'.. done without Human Hands... but by The Spirit of Truth.. lots of 'flesh-carnality' out there today.. even those who confess to 'have the spirit'.. when discerned and tested.. its still the 'flesh'.. man made righteousness. indeed!

Many will come in that day bragging on what they have done......only to be cast from the very presence of God.....tragic as it may be there are some in here who boast of their lack of sinfulness and make their boast in the many wonderful works that they do in the name of Jesus........My boast is in the perfect faith of Jesus and his finished work on my behalf HAHAH.....Like Paul said...if I am going to glory I will glory in the cross of Christ........and Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy has he saved us........!

I just read some of the comments here again and realised a reality. Being a christian is just repenting, accepting Christ and preaching this to others. I mean, I am now perfect, no sins or problems in my life, no mistakes, no need for the body etc.

This is absurd, and a denial of the work of Jesus. We know how far we are from perfection and doing the right thing which is why we started following Jesus in the first place. But we did not just arrive at the kingdom, we are earthen vessels with a precious gift, it takes time for that gift to work through the whole body.

Reading what some of you think, you have very little respect for life and its struggles or what Jesus offers. If it was all so simple the church would not still be a mess.

A pastor at a local church was a very romantic sort and thought he was fighting a spiritual war against a hostile enemy, rather than leading a bunch of wounded souls in need of a healer. Over time the idea is you are supposed to be getting stronger and more healthy not more dogmatic and twisted. I suggest a lot have made a wrong turn along the way.

Jesus said we believers are to be preaching Him as we go throughout the world. The man you have hired to be at the front of your weekly meeting was not hired for that. He was hired to train you to live together, and to be equipped to go out and teach others.

If you are already a believer who has accepted the gospel (and I assume all of you are), why are you still in need of someone to preach the gospel to you again, and again, and again? YOU are the ones to be preaching the gospel, not your hired teacher (pastor)
Amen, Amen, Amen

God bless

Ephesians 4; 11- and he gave some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers.

you should listen more carefully to the evangelists on tv. i had always thought they were just money seekers, but since accepting Christ and reading the new testament, on my 5th time through now, i have watched these evangelists to see what they are saying and i tell you they are preaching the truest form of the word. Their understanding of the word is undeniable. I find no fault in their messages.
However, there is a thread on here where a young lady was scared not to go to confession on easter because in her words that's what she is "programmed to do" by her religion, yet she knows Christ teaches that your confession is between you and god as a personal relationship. She knows what Christ teaches and is still looking to man for answers on what she should do.

So would Christ want his message shared in its purest form, or his message be diluted by man into mans' version of his word. and have man program the minds of those who accept him,

I am for those who share the spirituality of the word as intended by God through the new testament and the sacrifice and resurrection of his son Christ Jesus. Be that a preacher, an evangelist, a pastor or priest, or someone on the street, or my neighbour, or friend or stranger.

God bless
