Calvinite "A" says.....Got willed it, I had no say and got saved without the bible.

God says, "Faith comes by hearing, and HEARING BY THE WORD IF GOD."

ONE of the above is mistaken, lying or just obstinate to the truth!

HOW SHALL THEY HEAR except ONE BE SENT.......

Their false ideologies are easy to dismantle!

And still I wait for scripture.

You must read your bible before I can save you?

God chose and draws his children,.to Jesus ..only you kick against that truth, which is biblical.....

Again aside from a universalist ,who is saying all sinners will be saved?
What is hilarious is...the blather they peddle not only states that, but also contradicts it at the same time......

They say....GOD WILLED me to be saved without a bible and I had no choice in the matter.

So, if that is the case, then either God is a magnificient failure or everyone will be saved because....

God would have ALL MEN TO BE SAVED and come to the knowledge of the truth.

So....how can extra special Calvinite "A" be saved by God's will without the truth and man "B thru Z" burn if GOD would have ALL TO BE SAVED....

They, the Calvinites, have one contradiction after another......

Same as fruit of the Spirit....you shall know them by their fruit, then they make up some lame excuse, that it doesn’t mean what it says.
Same as God dwells in a believer,....I had to show them scripture, lol.
yawn........false teachers is the context, but we all already know context means nothing to you....!

All you really have to notice here, is how the other side "Free Willist" never answer a direct question. They hang their erroneous Dogma, on human understanding, while ignoring so much Scripture and then claim the other side does the same.

I have put forth questions, again and again and again, they answer with a question or try to use Scripture against Scripture.

The conversations go nowhere, so what is the point? And how is God honored in these things?

I just quoted scripture....maybe you should start reading your bible for once and actually believing it........

Faith comes by HEARING and HEARING by the word of GOD <--A DIRECT QUOTE FROM GOD TO YOU.

NO ONE is saved WITHOUT the word of GOD being proclaimed and then believed by the hearer!

You sir, are the rudest and most puffed up individual I have ever seen on these posts. Your character is as far from one being in Christ, as east is from west.

How can anyone who is born again, not know that God dwells within them.?

After 45 yrs....plus I had to show scripture to a member...I find that bizarre.

They actually denied that scripture as well.

The irony in this is you think that whatever questions you ask somehow trump the inability of the system to harmonize Scripture. Are we supposed to use logic, which when we do you accuse us of not appealing to Scripture, or Scripture which here you decry for some reason.

What you call "free grace" is anything but and fails on both tests whether it be logically or Scripturally.

I am not grasping how sexual immorality plays into the discussion

I do not subscribe to "free will," for man's will is constrained by many factors :)

Self will, however, is an entirely different matter ;)

As can be seen throughout Scripture, from Genesis onward :geek:

I tend to think of God's will as being evident in three ways:

His sovereign will: Our God is in heaven; He does as He pleases. (Psalm 115:3)

His moral will (as seen in His character and the ten commandments).

His permissive will (allowing man to rebel against Him).

"But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for
yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers
served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land
you are living. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”
Joshua 24:15

I have told him this multiple times too!!!

Calvinism It is not free grace.... it is coercive grace which is not grace.

You think somehow the potter's clay speaks about God acting completely and totally out of character? I don't deny Scripture, I recognize it for what it says. If we read Jeremiah we can see clearly the potter and clay analogy is about God judging not based on nothing, but based on whether the "clay" works good or evil.

Yet you abuse Scripture by not recognizing the understanding the audience would have had and forcing it into a Calvinist twist in which God acts capriciously.
"but based on whether the "clay" works good or evil"
There is absolutely nothing whatsoever in the text that indicates anything about the quality or any attribute of the clay itself. The key to the parable is the potter Himself. The righteousness of His judgments, His sovereign will to do as he sees fit, His divine prerogative of choice.
