The scriptures define the gospel. As it teaches us we abide in him . Not Creed writers
You have a messed up the one source of Christian faith as it is written . Anything outside of it is to disagree with God.
Not as it is written in creeds according to your law .
The bible was created to define what a Christians must believe. Not the private interpretation of men as their own personal bias or creed . Creeds are not laws .They are personal opinions .
Please tell us where in the creeds there is anything contrary to the Bible. The early elders wrote them to define what a Christian must believe. Refute that if they are wrong!!
CREEDS
When disputes flared up over the trinity of God and the doctrine of the nature of Jesus Christ, creeds were formulated. The standard for their formulation was the New Testament, that is the doctrine of Christ and His Apostles.
The Apostles' Creed (Apostolicum), the Creed of Nicaea-Constantinople, and the Athanasian Creed thus came into being. The basic tenets of the Apostles' Creed were summarised in the second century and lightly expanded in the fourth century. The Creed of Nicaea-Constantinople brings the trinity of God to special expression.
THE APOSTLES CREED
First there was a Roman statement of faith which was expanded into the Roman Creed. By 212 it was expanded into the Apostles Creed.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth; And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal 2 church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.
NICENE CREED (ORIGINAL 325)
Created by the first Council of Nicea called by Emperor Constantine because of the emerging conflict over who and what Jesus was that was threatening to split the church.
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father the only-begotten; that is, of the essence of the Father, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; By whom all things were made both in heaven and on earth;
Who for us men, and for our salvation, came down and was incarnate and was made man; He suffered, and the third day he rose again, ascended into heaven; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
And in the Holy Ghost.
But those who say: 'There was a time when he was not;' and 'He was not before he was made;' and 'He was made out of nothing,' or 'He is of another substance' or 'essence,' or 'The Son of God is created,' or 'changeable,' or 'alterable'— they are condemned by the holy catholic and apostolic Church.
NICENE CREED (REVISED 381)
Modified at the first Council of Constantinople. It is the only authoritative ecumenical statement of the Christian faith accepted by the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Anglican, and the major Protestant denominations. Also known as the Niceno–Constantinopolitan Creed.
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, and of all things seen and unseen.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; by whom all things were made.
Who, for us all for our salvation, came down from Heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, in accordance with the Scriptures; and ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father; 2 who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.
And I believe in one holy universal 3 and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
