This might not be the right place for this but I was wondering what others have experienced on different Christian forums. I know there's christianforum (seems almost too big but I'm amazed at how ecumenical it is, more like christendomforum) and pre-trib forums as well as numerous others I'm sure. I like christianchat I was just wondering what others have experienced. Thanks

I used to visit one that was pretty much devoted to the debate of minute theological ideas and the rebuke thereof. There were so many people in there that seemed to have nothing to do but to argue in massive amounts of posts. As a husband, father of 4, full time worker and a pastor, I don't have the time to try and keep up with all of that, or to sift through the sheer quantity of posts to try and find something uplifting and relevant to my life.

This place can get heated at times, but it 'aint nothin' compared to that place. I'm happy to be here, and happy to have left there.

lol it wasn't this site. I joined another forum and she happened to be a member there as well. I said hi to her and the mods got in their head that she goaded me to there for some strange motive. They were overly paranoid there.

It"s always interesting to find out what other people believe whether their belief is right or wrong.I have had to stop replying to some chatters on some forums because I got the impression that we were no longer discussing the subject, but arguing about it. And we know WHO wants the Bible argued. Satan himself. So I have learned that when it gets to that point,it's time to stop and let it go. When two people don't agree on the scriptures, it's time to agree to disagree and let God with both of us. I am not ashamed to share my belief with anyone, but the only one who will convince me that I am wrong is God. I am not saying I am right all the time because I am human like everyone else. But I am more interested in God's opinion of me than I am man's. Thank you.

I like this forum because the posts move fast, and there aren't threads from several years ago actively being posted on unless some newbie pulls them up. I also like this forum, because there are a diversity of sub-forums and you can get to know people.

I am also on Christianforums and I just overwhelmed every time I go there. Too many people and too many old threads. I used to run a forum, but found it to taxing to keep it going, so I bowed out. I like that I don't have to start threads ever! Burn-out talking!

I have learned a lot since I became active here, and like a good Baptist, I can take what I like and leave the rest! LOL

I agree. I strive at letting God's Word influence my thinking, speech, and actions. The verse that helps me to do this is found at Romans 3:3,4 and Proverbs 3:5,6.

The ones I have frequented are the same. You have the same camps and the same discussions.
