Isn't sickness related to sin in your bible?
Its only common sense, how can you follow a teacher who tells you to heal the sick but be sick yourself. Lol

When people say you are saved what are you saved from?
Saves comes from the Greek word sozo which means to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health

You know Isaiah 53.5 and 1 Peter 2:24 by his stripes you are healed. o_O

Come on you know what your bible says let's not put life experience over what your teacher says.
Both of these verses are clearly talking about being freed from sin and its consequences...... You can't take things out of context.....

Sins consequence is death is it not?

Does sickness lead to death?

Was sickness in the garden of Eden?

Is sickness in heaven?

Only children believe

Truth does not require believers.

If you would like to talk facts and primary sources that is more along the lines of conversation I like to have.

I posted this one page back...don't ignore it guys...this is what he has on his profile...the expression below

It has meaning...he's pulling your legs...let it go

Ase Ire...apparently your favorite Bible verse Simiel..which is not a verse, but an interesting subject

Ase (pronounced "ah-sheh"; also spelled ashe) and ire(pronounced "ee-ray") are words in the Yoruba language of West Africa. Yoruba words often have mupltiple meanings:
Ase is generally defined as "the power to make things happen" and also refers to the spiritual life force that flows through things, much like the Chinese concept of chi. Ase can also be used to express agreement -- saying "Ase!" can be like saying "Right on!" Ase is also a way of saying, "so let it be" and is used by Orisa worshippers in the way "amen" would be used by Christians following a prayer.
Ire is defined as a blessing or positive thing. According to the Yoruba, there several ire in life among them being health, long life, spouse, children, prosperity and wisdom.

So I guess we now understand where you are coming from ....

This is the prayer I like to pray for people who come on for this type of reason, that God would let absolute devastation in their lives, that He would strip everything away so that there is nothing left, so that there would be nothing hindering repentance and faith in Jesus.

sounds like you answered your own question.....sickness is on earth, not in Heaven....Sin took us away from Heaven....but you have yet to give accurate reasoning or examples as to why sickness on earth is impossible for Christians.....
What type of death are you referring to for the consequence of sin? Sickness destroys the body, sin destroys the spirit.....

We are saved from spiritual death....."For the wages of sin is death..."

So you know exactly what the Bible says? Then why are you trying to twist the salvation from sin and spiritual death into salvation from being sick as we call sick?

Galatians 6:5 God is not mocked - whatever a man sows, he will reap

John 11:14 But when Jesus heard this, He said, "This sickness is not to end in death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.

John 9:2
Jesus Heals the Man Born Blind
1As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. 2And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?" 3Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.…

God allows sickness, bad circumstances, so that He might be Glorified

I have battled this question for years and was wondering what people. Here thought. Can a Christian have actual demons inside them?
I have cast out demons from Christians myself and know that they can in fact have them. Can you give me scripture to back up what you say
Wait.... on one hand you say you've battled this question "for years" and then in the next post you say you've actually witnessed it.

This is just a bait and switch type deal giving you a soapbox to stir up a debate so you can "prove" you're right. Sheesh.............. :p

If the Christians are suppose to heal the sick how can a Christian be sick?

1 John 3:8The reason the Son of God manifested was to destroy the devil's work.

What did Jesus go around doing all threw out the bible?when ever he had a chance to ?

Is not all opportunity to glorify god?

And I like the first thing they said was, who sinned that he is blind.

If doctors are supposed to heal the sick, how can doctors be sick? That is where your logic leads.... and we can see that logic is flawed....doctors can still get sick.....

Back to the OP.

NO, a blood bought and spirit filled Son or daughter of God cannot possessed spiritually by any evil spirit, demon, etc
this is because a saved person is the temple of the Holy Ghost [See 2 Cor 6.14-16]

However, a blood bought and spirit filled Son or daughter of God can leave a door open and become oppressed mentally and emotionally by an evil spirit or demon, which could manifest physically at times.

An example of extreme mental/emotional demonic oppression that manifests phsycial outcome is, unforgiveness.
I have worked prayer lines where someone comes up for prayer and is bound by severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.
The Holy Ghost has revealed to me that the person harbors unforgiveness in their heart, that has turned into a root of bitterness. The unforgiveness has opened a door to the spirit of infirmity to take over the mind and body of the person.

I have witnessed as the person comes forward, and repents and forgives that someone and be radically, immediately healed and made whole and they keep it. Sadly, I have also witnessed those that prefer to not forgive the person and stay bound by the spirit of infirmity and usually have ended up dead. Both times the people were saved.

This is why renewing the mind is so vital for sons and daughters of God and a very heavily talked about topic in the NT.
As someone who suffers from severe Rheumatoid Arthritis, I really resent your generalization that the source and cause of my disease is unforgiveness. I have been a Christian for 35 years, and I keep short accounts. Not just because God demands it, but because I just can't seem to hold a grudge.

I thought you had walked away from the Health and Wealth gospel, you posted elsewhere. Instead, I find this kind of condemning diatribe, which is not based on Scripture, but the teachings of liars and deceivers.

It is hard enough to be in terrible pain, and to be judged wrongly by people who are completely and utterly ignorant of the mechanisms which drive this autoimmune disease. If you want to do something positive, pray my liver will settle down, so I can take the new med I was prescribed, which worked like a magic bullet.

"For there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1
