Christmas actually has nothing to do with Christ, December 25th was when the pagan Roman gods were ''born''. You will not see anywhere in the Bible where anyone celebrated Christmas, nor are we Biblicaly instructed to do so.

This IS absolutley the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard; even if the Romans did this, So what!

Whats new about satan attempting to deceive people with his cheap copies of everything???

Unfortunatley i am not familiar with what the Feast is reffered to in the Jewsish/Christian Old Testament times; mabey someone on here will tell us.

The 3 Feasts of The Tabranacle:

1: The Conception of a Saviour: Verified when John the Baptist LEPT for JOY, in the womb of Mary's cousin, Elizabeth who was herself, 6 months pregnant with a gifted child, as she had never had a child, and was well past the normal child-bearing years, when she was informed through an angel as well, that she would indeed conceive a special child; John the Baptist.

2: The PassOver: As Christ is The Passover Lamb, in which the death angel MUST Pass Over you. The Crucifixtion and RESSERECTION of a Saviour.

3: Thanksgiving: For the Birth of a Saviour: as Christ IS the one who will be Harvesting the Souls; Most Likely, i would think, on His Birthday, Sept Harvest Time :):eek:

Why do you think The Father said, wrote or even bothered having them kept; if He knew they would be held in ignorance???

Because there IMPORTANT to HIM. Even IF no one else cares.:p

Forever in Christ :)

Actually Christmas falls on no Roman holiday, the closest Roman holiday to Christmas (in terms of time) is Saturnalia which ran from the 17th of December to the 23rd of December. We get our Christmas tradition of gift giving from Saturnalia. Like another poster said before Christmas was not intentionally put near Saturnalia, Hippolytus calculated the conception of Christ to have occurred on th 25th of March, and he logically assumed Christ to have been born nine months after that date on the 25th of December.
